Had a very nice, relaxing week on Pelican Lake. Nice cabin, roomy, clean and comfortable. All the essentials, dishes, pots, pans , etc provided. Enjoyed some great evenings with a roaring fire in the fire pit! Beautiful lake, saw eagles everyday. Fishing was so-so the week we visited. Really nice place to spend the week. Beautiful views!
Very well maintained property for it's age. Must appreciate vintage decor. Sleeping was comfortable, fans provided in each room. Large kitchen and dining space (huge table seats 8), includes everything you need for cooking and dining. Nice bathroom with shower. Charcoal grill and fire pit on-site. Beautiful, quiet setting with clean shoreline. Traveled with spouse and 8 year old son, who enjoyed fishing off the dock. This property is about 2-3 miles from boat landing. The owner was very kind and easy to work with. You will want to bring the following items with you: charcoal and lighter fluid if plan on grilling, some dry wood because if it's been raining in the area, the wood provided might be wet, bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels and toiletries and paper toweling. We would stay here again!
Our favorite vacation to date! Very clean and roomy, excellent for wildlife lovers. We caught dozens of bluegills right from the private pier, saw families of loons and ducks every morning amd evening, saw several herons and bald eagles from our yard, several deer and even a black bear ( in nearby Post Lake). Quiet and peaceful, comfortable and cozy. Phil was super friendly and welcoming, he even offered to take us out on his boat! We loved it!
This was a very nice cabin for the price- very spacious, and comfortable. Lot was wooded, so had mosquitos of course, but very large area for families. Owner was very knowledgeable about lake and fishing spots. Would definitely return!
