We came to CR after a disastrous attempt to eat at another chain in the Mall. Louise, our waitress, was really lovely and we had great value for money with the set menu.

We chose to eat here at a mall visit during Easter break. Got a table right at noon. We had 2 small kids with us, who were occupied by the busy kid menus and clever crayons. good thing...since it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, but it was a busy lunchtime. The menu had several interesting items, but when they arrived, they didn't appear as French as they sounded. The smoked fish with cassoulet turned out to have some sort of red sauce, seeming more Italian red sauce, with a few breakfast beans thrown in. There was a nice grouping of broccoli and haricot vert, but quite meager for the price. The kids ordered burgers and chips, which were OK. Salads were average, coffee was good, but given the price and the wait, I wouldn't go back but look elsewhere next time.

We went for the 2 course lunch for £11.50, sounded good at first. The starter was fine, but the main course of goats cheese/roasted beetroot Tart with a salade was dry and the no dressing. Service was fine though and the coffee great. Give dessert a miss if you are thinking about the Rum baba it's a brioche soaked in suger syrup.

Friendly and helpful staff, good food. Our waiter Mario was very accommodating, food came quickly and was very good. We will return.

Service was shockingly slow for us and others around us. I really wouldn’t come back. Food was ok but new dish on the menu was clearly not one that they knew how to do. Don’t recommend at all.
