We were staying at the Pfister Hotel and decided to go up to Blu for a drink and to listen to the featured jazz singer. The views were beautiful and the surroundings were very elegant. They had a large selection of mixed drinks and wine by the glass as well as some food offerings. Our server was very kind and attentive and quick to answer any questions we had.

The featured singer that night was having trouble with her microphone so she spent most of the evening trying to correct the problem which was very disappointing. Definitely a very romantic atmosphere and a good date night place to go.

We went here on two successive nights when we stayed here for a long birthday weekend. Friday night was busy but we got a table on the windows fairly quickly. Saturday night was nuts with two weddings in the hotel and most of the guests flocking to this lounge. After sitting at the bar for awhile we scored a table, mainly because I am fast and relentless, lol!

Service is excellent to very good depending on how many people are jammed into the lounge. Manhattans are excellent, and yes, they use dark cherries. There was live music on Saturday and quite good, but we had a table of drunk loudmouths near the ensemble shouting out some pedestrian band repeatedly for a request.

The snacks that are served and repeatedly refilled are addictive: salty but not offensively so. I could've emptied a couple of bowls myself. We wound up staying for two rounds of straight-up Manhattans while watching the traffic below and the people in the lounge. Great place. Dressy (don't come in in your cargo shorts or sports-logo t shirt).

We were staying at the Pfister Hotel and took advantage of the happy hour in Blu. It did not disappoint. Lovely setting with great service and good selection of drinks. The only downside was that we could not see a menu.

We decided to stop in for some drinks late Friday night. Locals had mentioned it was a great place to go for good drinks and amazing views of the city. It is on the 23rd floor of the Pfister Hotel (which is worth seeing just on its own). It is a decent sized place with places to sit at the bar, comfy chairs and tables all around, and a very nice ambiance. I had the Russian Mule which was quite good - lots of good ginger. My fiance enjoyed the London Refresher which was a gin cocktail muddled with elderflower, cucumber, and basil. She really enjoyed it. To top it off, there was a jazz quartet playing while we we there. Just added to an incredible evening - classy, relaxed, and very comfortable. We loved Blu.
