Wasn't expecting much when we drove up; but boy were we surprised. We dine out about twice a week, and 3CP was by far the best dining experience we've had thus far this year. The tuna steamed bun was great (and very unusual); and then the Alaska Halibut was out of this world. Kudos to Ben, our waiter, for making the evening memorable.

Service was great and the waiter was very knowledgeable and very helpful with suggestions.

The Lobster Potholes appetizer was absolutely fantastic. It was like eating escargot but made with lobster meat. Very rich dish but I could have had another serving as my dinner it was that good. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The fish dish the waiter said was bit interesting. Not sure how to describe, the fish was cooked to perfection, the ragout was good but a bit salty and just too much of it.

Nice selection of whiskey's and the old fashioned was made to perfection. No muddled maraschino cherry and no topper of seltzer or club soda. 3 ingredients, bitters, sugar and whiskey. The bitters used were fantastic added bit of a bite to the drink.

I definitely recommend and if my travels take me back to Milwaukee I would go again.

Get the Ahi tuna crudo appetizer - it is outstanding - as good as I've had at Nobu or anywhere else. The grilled whole fish is also great. Nice atmosphere, not too noisy, good service.

We frequently dine out and got a good report from friends that we trust.
Good points first:
Nice Atmosphere
Ahi Tuna Crudo was great.
Lobster Pot Pie was good
Food was served hot, direct from the kitchen
Disappointments:
Steak Tartare - Could be outstanding, but was extremely salty
Sea Scallops (Entree) - Drowned in salt, bordering on inedible
Very Small Pours (3 to 4 oz.) on wine by the glass.
Spotty service
I can only speculate that the Owner/Chef, Andrew Miller was not in the kitchen.

The reviews of this eatery were quite good, so we tried it for a "special night out" given its priciness. It is an excellent seafood-oriented place with a combination of small plates and main courses. The quality of the food was excellent, and matched by very good service. I would recommend 2 small plates and one entree for a moderately hungry couple. The music was enjoyable classic rock, turned down to permit normal conversation. The only issues that confront one are the prices, which seem quite high despite its location in the high rent downtown corridor. Overall, a great place for special occasions , or to treat a visiting relative/friend who may be staying around the corner at the Pfister Hotel.
