We stayed in the Red House (3 bed; 2 bath). The cottage was spacious and warm, with easy to use kitchen and other amenities.
If you do go, use the directions given; Googlemaps did not get us there with the SatNav codes and we kept turning left, then again, then again, so had to go back to Beaumaris and start again!
We were lucky with the weather and found it a good base to explore the coastal paths and the three National Trust properties in the vicinity. Recommend Bodnant Gardens on the journey there, as there is a fantastic Welsh Food Centre further on that sells the best Welsh Black Beef. Being foodies, we cooked every night bar the last, buying meat from the butcher in Beaumaris and using Waitrose, near the Menai Bridge.
If I had to say something negative, it was that we had no Travel Guide in the cottage, detailing what was around the area - we had never been to Anglesey before, so would have welcomed some hints and recommendations. We did bump into a visitor at one of the other cottages, who said that they think they had ours, as theirs was missing on arrival and one was found. We 'borrowed it back'! Also there is no wifi or 3G, so we couldn't google places to visit, restaurants, etc.
It would have been nice to have a guest book too, so other visitors could give their experiences of what they found interesting on Anglesey, but maybe this is where TripAdvisor takes over. ;)
BUT, this is a great place if you want to get away from hectic jobs/life and unwind. There appeared to be a resident wild rabbit, as well as a red squirrel that showed its face once, and a footpath up into the woods is alongside the cottage........
