My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while waiting on family in the hospital. The rate was reasonable as we used a hospital discount. However, the hotel was under renovations. Working for a contractor, I understand the issues that may pop up during this type of work. However, it was obvious our room had recently been complete but not thorough cleaning performed. There was drywall dust all over the floor and you had to be careful where you set stuff down. I had to wipe all of the bathroom and room counters down to get rid of the dust. The towels had a lot of stains - more than what I would say is reasonable. The bedding was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing - the “hot” breakfast was cold and we had to wait for construction workers to get their food before we could get in to get ours. Our room key had to be reset every time we wanted to get into the room. The receptionist even made the comment that she had to remember to key in a different room number to make keys for our room. It was a hassle going down to the desk three times to get into the room each evening.
I’ve stayed at other Country Inns and am usually always very happy with the stay. However, this one was a bit disappointing for the price. More
