Washington House is a warm, highly traditional, and lovely place to stay in the beautiful, historic town of Cedarburg. The rooms are quite comfortable, each unique in feel, and offer the comforts of home: fine sheets and bedding, fireplace, stand alone tub, all lights on dimmers. And the home made complimentary breakfasts were delicious, featuring many delectable pastries, eggs, sausages, potatoes, fresh fruits and more.

Its location, in Cedarburg, is perfect, giving you easy access to antique and jewelry stores, coffee houses, pubs etc. It is as if nothing has changed in generations! Quaint and extremely charming.

Room Tip: Upper level rooms often require steep stairs, be aware.

Stayed for a couple's getaway and loved the place; fun shops, restaurants and bars just up and down the street; park and walk all day. Staff was friendly; loaning us a corkscrew for the evening. Bedding was comfy. We would stay here again when in town.

The staff are very friendly - the property is beautifully restored with lots of charm - the breakfast was amazing. If you don't mind creaky floors and the rustic atmosphere, and you appreciate the antique ambiance, this is the place to stay. Parking was so easy in the crowded downtown area - it's in a perfect location to get to everything. Thank you.

Stayed one night to attend the Sunday flea market. Our room was very nice with two queen beds, but was small; not much room for bags, and although there were two arm chairs provided, one was in a corner, and one awkwardly placed between the two beds. Aside from that, the property is beautiful. The evening social is wonderful, with a very large selection of wine. And the morning breakfast is more than continental-it was outstanding. Simply delicious. The location is very convenient to downtown, and aside from the downtown shops, there is a Kohl's, Dick's sporting goods, Michael's, and a Meijer store.
