I've stayed at the Stagecoach Inn many times over the past 15 years, and the Inn and staff always deliver a first class experience. Great advice on where to go around town, particularly where the best dining experiences can be found. Nice quiet rooms right in the center of the historic district. The jacuzzi rooms are always a plus. You won't find anything like this in a hotel.

We have stayed in many B&B's across the country and The Stagecoach is on our top "5" places that we will be sure to include in any trips to WI. Room 10 is great. Lots of room, super clean and furnishings to compliment the vintage of the Inn. Excellent inn keepers, very helpful w/good breakfast and conversation. Super convenient being right in the middle of town w/a wonderful park a short walk away to relax by the waterfall. We'll make it a point to return.

Room Tip: Room 10 - main floor, quiet, lots of room w/extra sitting area.

Nice things about this Inn--friendly owners and helpful staff (except for the person at check-in when we arrived, made us wait 30 minutes, didn't seem over-concerned about client satisfaction). Breakfast was cold but sufficient, nice informal atmosphere. Negatives: we stayed at the annex, "Weber Haus"--simply a very old house of no particular distinction. The garden in back could have been nice, had it been tended and well-planted. The room was clean, but contained no actual antiques, bed was comfy--but the single-pane windows let in all the sounds of the busy main street, including bikers, police/fire sirens, and drunks from the bar across the street. The TV was a small-screen cathode-ray number from the last century, and the remote didn't work (although batteries replaced when we called it to their attention.) Nice having a whirlpool, but not so nice being unable to fill the tub with truly warm water. Lack of wi-fi was another annoying touch--at $160/night, this was not a bargain, compared to other Wisconsin B & Bs I've stayed at.

Room Tip: Stay at the main building, which is nicer, has more antiques, and has parking right there, not at th...

It is always upsetting and disappointing when a guest is not happy with their experience. We take all comments very seriously and make every effort to improve our guests' stay. The guests arrived at 1:00 and housekeeping was still preparing the rooms . Even though check-in time is 4:00, we always try to accommodate guests with an earlier check-in when the rooms are ready. The Weber Haus our annex across the street, is a historic landmark built in 1848. Room 13 includes a wardrobe from the late 1880's, an end table and small dresser from early 1900. The TV is also an antique. It is true the garden was not yet planted and organized. I usually wait until the end of May to plant the annuals and transplant the perennials in case of a frost. Room 13 is in the front of the building and does get some street noise despite double windows & insulation. If we had known the noise was a problem or that the water wasn't hot enough, we would have gladly corrected the situation and offered another room. As for Wi/Fi, all of our literature explains that it is not available in the annex, but we do have it in the main building. Finally, we cannot solve a problem if someone does not tell us about it until they send a note to Trip Advisor. Unfortunately by then it is too late.

We had such a great weekend in Cedarburg and really enjoyed our stay at the Stagecoach. This was our first time at a B&B and we'll be looking to do this again in the future. The Stagecoach (room 13) was very comfortable and cozy with an in-room jacuzzi as a nice touch. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed striking up conversations with them and other guests at breakfast in the morning and the wine reception at night. The owners recommended that we check out Soulshine Arts across the street and we were so glad we did. We took a couples glass blowing class and each made a paper weight and a nice bowl. It was really fun and we would definitely recommend it to others. While we were in town we also checked out Amy's, the Farmstead, the Anvil and many of the little shops up and down Washington Ave. It was the perfect weekend getaway and we loved every minute of it.

Room Tip: Room 13 is street level so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Thank you for your kind and honest review. We appreciate you taking the time to review your stay with us. We are glad you made it over to Soulshine and that you enjoyed the town as well. Please be sure to keep us in mind again for your next getaway, perhaps when its warm out, Cedarburg has much to offer in the summer!

We (Couple, 20's) stayed in room 13 of the Weber Haus (Separate from parent building, a block down the Main Street of Cedarburg), which included:
-2 person Jacuzzi (Complimentary bath salts provided)
-Queen Bed
-Standing Shower/Full Bathroom
-Gas Fireplace
The Room: Very comfortable and cozy, well-kept for being in an older building, extremely clean and tidy, no funny smells, no dust on surfaces. We (and our neighbors, the plumbing is loud enough to hear) used the jacuzzi, and there was plenty of hot water left for showers. Aside from the fireplace, there was a radiator style space heater (worked fine) provided for temperature control. Room was a bit chilly so we had to use both.

The breakfast:
Cold homemade continental:
-Breakfast cereals/oatmeal
-HUGE variety of homemade pastries/muffins (tasty!)
-Coffee, Tea, OJ/Cranberry Juice
-Bagels, cream cheese, jams/jellies
-Fresh seasonal fruit. (Blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, honeydew, cantaloupe, grapes) Not soggy or old - tasted like it was all just picked.

Full total came to ~$160 for a night.
We were able to check in earlier than our reservation, and the staff were extremely welcoming. The whole place is very down-to-earth.

The real upside to staying here is definitely being able to walk right outside and shop til you drop up and down the main avenue. Grab a latte at the cafe which roasts their coffee in front of you! The Hub has tasty "street" style food, if you want a fancier dinner MAKE A RESERVATION at one of the sitdowns, like the Homestead (which is always packed). The kind folks at Stagecoach provided a menu for many local restaurants, which was super helpful. They also will recommend the glassblowing class (we didn't go, ran out of time) and the winery (definitely worth it!) If you're a fan of cutesy folk art, this is the spot for you.

If you're making Cedarburg a weekend destination, the Stagecoach is a good choice.

Room Tip: If you stay in the main building, you may have to "encounter" the staff on your way in and...
