The food is good. The service was excellent. This was the 3rd time we have been to Nawab. We always go why we pass through Huntington.

Surprised to find such a good Indian place in Huntington. I've eaten here a few times. I'll admit I'm in a rut and can only recommend two dishes cause it's all I ever order. I ether order the Lamb Curry or Lamb Korma. Both are fantastic. One thing I love about this place is they actually will let you order Mild plus. Meaning mild but just a little spice. I find medium just too much and mild just too boring but the mild plus is perfect. Plus I always get the garlic nan. Again an outstanding dish. Wish I could advise on other dishes but I only get here ever so often and those two dishes serve me well!
We stopped in Huntington on a long drive back to Washington DC. After strolling the too short riverwalk we were hungry and via both Trip Advisor and Yelp settled on Nawab. Give them credit for staying open after 20:00. Huntington is a college town (Marshall) so in the summer it is empty. Truthfully we did not expect much. West Virginia does not seem to have a large Indian population. We were very pleasantly surprised. The menu had a lot of choices. We are a family of 5 and shared 6 dishes. All were great. Service was fast and friend. Prices were moderate. Nawab is excellent.
We regularly eat in 4 star restaurants in many cities. And this is among the very best Indian restaurants anywhere. We loved it!
This was the first place I ever tried Indian food, and many Indian restaurants later this is still my favorite. The staff is friendly and prompt and always keep your drink refilled. My favorite dishes are mulligatawny soup and achari gosht. If you are into to spicy food, request it "Indian hot." We come here every time I get the chance. My wife loves it as well. I have even introduced to my family. However, I recommend order off the menu even during lunch hours.
