“Exquisite B&B from the design to ambiance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 February 2012

As a meeting planner I've seen about every type of hotel in the country, and I must honestly say, this is one of my favorites. I had the opportunity to do a site-inspect, and was given a full tour of the mansion, it is breathtakingly beautiful. From the design by Dr. Dan Cox, which is flawless, to the wonderful ambiance created I have been excited to see this property take off and get "on the map" so to speak. It has done that and more. I now hear that the food is delicious and award winning, and have had wonderful reports back from friends that have stayed here. What an incredible experience you will have. Don't miss out on this rare beauty.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful and appealing. Don't miss out on the luxurious swimming pool.

We went there for a romantic dinner and we were not disappointed. What a wonderful place. Great food, wonderful service and friendly staff. We felt very much at home and are actually planning on going back to stay for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

A truly relaxing experience! I will be back many times for sure. The food at the vine is the best. the rooms are perfect, and the innkeepers are AWSOME! My only complaint is that I could only stay one night this time around, hate leaving!! we have stayed in the french and German rooms, and the greek and spanish are on our list..

Room Tip: I am pretty sure you cant go wrong with any of them.

This place is dreamy.

We just spent one night there for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We travelled from home (Meridian, ID) and it was the perfect destination. The property is fantastic. Even tho' we were there during the dormant season, the views were amazing. It is our goal to go back during the spring (as you can tell there is going to be a lot of beautiful landscaping around the mansion) as well as in October when the vineyards and fruit orchards start to turn color. We also have a goal in mind to do some cherry picking, as the owners invited us, during the season.

The mansion is so well done. Just the architecture and attention to detail in the rooms was incredible. The innkeepers are welcoming from the moment you contact them to make a reservation; beyond that, their attention to every detail of your stay is spot-on.

Our chosen room was The Italian "Bella Valle"...the bedding is so comfortable. The mattress wonderful; we slept like babies. The cleanliness is impeccable.

Ok, so about the FOOD! Great food all the way around. We had 3 meals there (technically); our first night we had dinner at The Vine downstairs. Every part of that was delicious. The next "meal" was the morning wake-up coffee service; being on a gluten free diet, I wasn't sure if there would be anything for me...the innkeepers made me my very own GF pastry that was to die for, and I have been dreaming about it since. Talk about spoiled. Next, the breakfast was so much food and we were happy for it! The fruit plate for each table had about 21 items on it...who finds that many types of fruit in February? And artfully done. The hot breakfast included GF muffins that were wonderful, the bacon was fantastic and everything else delicious. By the way, their coffee is amazing too. Did I mention the amazing wine inventory?

We got several opportunities to visit with the the owners/innkeepers and they are gracious, entertaining hosts. We will go back at our earliest opportunity. Bob and Melissa S.

Room Tip: I would choose The Italian room again. It was wonderful.

We stayed at the mansion for our 25th wedding anniversary and cannot imagine anything more perfect! We stayed in the Greek Suite. It was beautiful, comfy, inviting....perfect. The bed was gorgeous and so comfortable! Loved soaking in the huge jetted tub and taking a shower in the rain shower. We snuggled in front of the fire. We didn't watch the giant flat screen tv because it was about just us that weekend. It was a little chilly when we stayed, so we didn't brave the pool but we did walk out by it and enjoy the beautiful views. The pastries delivered with our coffee in the morning were so flaky and yummy! We ate dinner at The Vine and that was an experience in itself! We got to watch the amazing chef as she created our food, then the real experience came in eating it! We had crab cakes for an appetizer...so yummy I considered licking the plate LOL. Then I had the apple wood smoked prime rib...never have I had such delicious prime rib! Then it was on to dessert...I was speechless at how good it was! My only complaint was how miserably full we got because everything was so good we ate it all! Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delightful! We felt pampered and special! The owners are really special people and this is a very special place. We are saving up to hopefully go next year again! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us and making our special weekend even more special!

Room Tip: The Greek room was beautiful, but its also directly below the kitchen and it was a little noisy as t...
