Visited this nice memorial while in town. Worth a visit! (And if you are a geocacher, you will find a cache nearby!)

If you are a fan, this is a must see if you are in Seattle. It used to be just a headstone but now has expanded to a memorial.

My sons learned to drive in this cemetery (and once almost ran into the grave!). If you're a Hendrix fan, it's like visiting Graceland .... homage to the great guitar player. Wide open memorial site.

I visited at 7.30 in the morninbg to avoid any possible "crowds" so I could take some time in quiet reflection, there was a local guy cleaning the plinths - a labour of love. The flower beds are immaculately maintained.

The family was staying in Seattle, but we are all music fans and really wanted to drive over to Renton to see his memorial. We were so glad we did. There was no one there but us. Obviously, there had been lots of folks there before us because there were lots of flowers. Also, there were lipstick marks all over the memorial. Jimi would have liked his memorial. I would have liked if Jimi would have stayed around longer to make more amazing music.
