Reviewed 16 November 2016

On our return from a long trip to Canada, we needed a place to stop overnight. We selected Crowe Butte Park based only on the fact it was the right distance before needing to stop. Crowe Butte is right on the Columbia River on the Washington State side, and it is surrounded by arid, scrubby vegetation. You leave the highway and drive out to a little island, and because of irrigation from the Columbia, you enter a beautiful park with nice trees and green grass. The staff was very friendly and helpful - but they said they would be leaving for another park in November. Regardless, I would bet the new staff would also be welcoming. How could they not with this pretty little park that many would pass by.
