Food was great, but expensive. Good for a "special" evening. However noise level (6pm) was unreal....won't be going there again

Always good food. The feeling of being in a French restaurant. The snapper is done in a very light crisp coconut sesame ginger sauce, always perfect. My wife, a vegetarian, enjoys the butternut squash, delightful salads, fresh and sometimes local greens . A most interesting selection of wines that has new offerings, sometimes daily. The menu has standards but always specials that pull you back to find out what is tempting!
Last, never overlook the freshly prepared, to savor deserts! The selection is hard to pick from if you love flourless, double chocolate torts, cream brûlée, fruit sorbets .., so delicious!

We've enjoyed Waterstreet since it opened, and their wine list has always been one of their strengths. Unfortunately, on a couple of recent visits, the wine program seems to have gone WAY downhill. We had dinner a few days ago. I tasted three by-the-glass wines, all of which were unpleasant. I ordered the albarino--untested, unfortunately. It was sour and lacking in any kind of wine fruit taste. I wanted a red with my dinner. Server offered me a taste of a French red, which was really kind of nasty--unsorted characteristics, no positive characteristics. So I just ordered an Oregon pinot noir--how can you go wrong? By ordering this one. It didn't have any of the characteristics of any pinot noir I've previously consumed, nor any others qualities to its credit. It tasted kind of like cheap red wine. (As Oregon pinot noir, it was not priced like cheap red wine.) My husband had Calif Central Coast chardonnay (because of the lack of European offerings by the glass)--his was . . . okay. On our previous visit prior to this one, the wine was also very disappointing. It's as though the person(s) selecting the wine can't taste or don't taste.

The food at Waterstreet is very good, but I probably will not go back soon. What's the point of spending $$$ for well-prepared food, when no good wine is available to accompany the meal?

I love the new Espresso Pannacota at Waterstreet with a Cafe Latte for a quick couples outing! Love the service too! Fun night ❤️

The food is delicious! Prices are the high end of reasonable but definitely worth it. They have a side room that is perfect for a group of 12 -30. Attentive servers. Visit during Lakefair and enjoy their street tacos at their food booth.
