After a long day traveling, we needed a good spot to rest and start our vacation off the next day at Mount St. Helens. Room was clean and all we needed for our first night on the road. Service at the front desk was exceptional and helpful regarding our needs in the area. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

We stayed here for 5 days to visit family in July 2017.

The Good: Customer service was great, very polite, very kind, always there; We were here to see family, so location to them was great, but if you were trying to visit Portland it would be way too far; the breakfast bar offered a wide variety (eggs, waffles, cereal yogurt, etc.)

The Not so Good: The beds are terrible... very uncomfortable. Our backs were hurting the entire trip, also the pillows are big pufffy, hard pillows...not great; The TV reception goes out a lot, must be Satellite, because for a couple of days we lost service Literally every 20 seconds ... very annoying; Although the breakfast was varied, the tables weren't cleaned often enough, every table was dirty (dirty like syrup on the table tops, not old cups) so I think that when they clear the tables they should also wipe them down (it was kind of gross); In our room the fire alarm was covered with a plastic baggie...not so good for safety!!!

All in all I think we paid too much for this kind of hotel, over 100 per night, seems a lot for what we got. That being said, I have very high expectations and standards so it is hard to get a 5 star from me. But this is what I noticed. I would only return if i were visiting family again, only because of the closeness to them.

Brandi,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate all comments, good and bad. It lets us know what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong. All of our mattresses are new. They are top of the line Serta double sided pillow top mattresses. I am sorry they were uncomfortable for you and your family. We actually have two different types of pillows in our rooms. We provide three firm and one soft pillow per bed. Upon requests, we are more then willing to provide additional soft pillows instead of the firm pillows. During the summer season our breakfast room is constantly busy. At times we are so busy making sure the food is stocked well and attending to the guests needs the tables can get missed between guests. I will bring the cleanliness of our breakfast room to our head housekeepers attention so we can avoid this happening again. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your family. We hope to see you again next time you're in the Longview area.

Sincerely,
Betty Wilson

We were checked in quickly and efficiently, were told about all the amenities the hotel had to offer, and even given some recommendations of places to eat in the area. Staff was very friendly and we felt well taken care of. The room was clean and very comfortable - the bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. Free breakfast in the morning is always nice, but you might want to stick with cold cereal and juice. Overall, it was a great place to stay for under $100 per night!

This is one of the nicer Quality Inn's I've stayed at. Very well maintained, my room was spacious and very clean. There was nice laminate flooring in the room entryway and then seemingly new carpet in the rest of the room, and tile flooring in the bathroom. The shower was great with good pressure and plenty of hot water. My bed was king sized and super comfortable with very nice feeling sheets. A fridge and microwave were in the room as well. Breakfast was good with plenty of omelettes and sausages as well as the usual continental fare and make your own waffles. A great stay!

The room was clean and adequate, with not a lot of extra frills. Minimum towels and small bathroom. Convenient location to the Fairgrounds. Fridge in room if you need it. good parking with lights and camera's for protection. Restaurants close by.
