In addition to in restaurant dining, India House offers a catering service. We hired them for our wedding recently for 175 people. We paid a fee per person(175) with the guarantee that they would not run out of food. We worked diligently to make sure our guest list was accurate and it was. In fact we had a few people who were unable to attend. The food was "not hot" according to the person who was 5th in line. They ran out of food for large periods of time, leaving our guests to conclude that the food was gone so they never returned to eat. Those who did find food, reported small amounts of meat in the Butter chicken and others who found no meat at all. They couldn't even keep the salad dish stocked. They set up the order of their food incorrectly: mysterious unlabeled sauces at the beginning of the buffet and rice at the very end. They, stacked plates on one side of the table, for a 2 sided buffet line. They were to bring printed cards to describe the dishes being served but instead showed up with brown cards with a hand written name of the dish. We paid for additional staff to keep everything full and ready for our guests. The owner said, it wouldn't be necessary, but we hired them anyway. The owner promised that we would not run out of food. We have had over 45 people tell us the food had run out when they arrived. If you plan on having a special event, I would not recommend India House and am sharing this information to help others.
