I was here for a business retreat. I was overwhelmed by the setting, the service, and the amazing food. My room was fairly basic, but that's sort of the point with this place. The pool was really nice, but the workout room left a lot to be desired. Again, the food here was just spectacular - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was a great place for a business retreat. Also, the town of Leavenworth was a great place to hang out. I will definitely return.

Our daughter was married at SLR this past weekend. We are still well enveloped in
the afterglow of the spectacular event happening here, and must say it doesn't
get much better than what Sleeping Lady has to offer. Along with a peaceful and
exquisitely beautiful property is delicious food, options of indoor or outdoor ceremony
with wonderful areas available for dinner and dance. SL provides set up for the ceremony,
for meals, and dancing, and willingly accommodates in every way possible. Staff is warm,
friendly, and responsive. Rachel, the on sight wedding coordinator, managed many moving
parts superbly, and everything went even better than we could hope. She had two assistants,
Cora and Ronnie, who operated beautifully behind the scene. Our guests raved about the buffet dinner, their accommodations, the pool and hot tub, the mountains, and more. Most impressive they felt was how this venue allowed for warm and wonderful mingling throughout
the day and half for guests to enjoy one another and just to have an all around
grand time. Folks traveled here from 15 different states and were not disappointed!
Memories were made and will be treasured. Incredible place for a wedding!!

I have never written a review before on Trip Advisor, but felt I must after so many negative reviews. We come to Leavenworth every year at the end of June for our anniversary and have stayed in other hotels, and this was our first time to Sleeping Lady. It was absolutely fantastic. When my husband and I go away for a weekend, our purpose is good food, tastefully decorated spotless room, relaxation, good pool and hot tub and peace and quiet, and all were accomplished here. The food was healthly and delicious and the Salad Bar in the Kingfisher was the best I have had in a long time. We like organic, healthy foods and it far surpassed our expectations. The breakfast included in our package was awesome as well, and if they didn't have exactly what you wanted, they would make it for you. The staff in both the restaurant and the rest of the resort were helpful and gracious at all times. The pool and hot pool were the best I have used in a long time, and we spent several hours there over the 3 days of our stay. The temperature in the pool was perfect as well. The rooms were cozy and nicely decorated, and we had a nice padded window seat looking over the trees which made a relaxing quiet place to read. The only bad thing, was that we had to leave, I could have stayed a few more days quite happily!

Just stayed the one night but immensely impressed by the loft room. They've taken great care with the decor and the beds are super-comfy. The Grotto Bar was charming and we had pizza there - then in the morning we had the incredible breakfast put on at the Kingfisher Restaurant. Very impressed by the standards. We didn't get to try out half the amenities they have - pool, gym, etc. but we'll be back for a weekend package to do that and some snow-shoe walking on the lovely trails later this year.

My sisters and I took our mother to the Sleeping Lady for Mother's Day Brunch. We had high expectations at $37.00 per person. It was mediocre food at best and the service was terrible. It was usual breakfast food--sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, french toast, waffles, fruit, pastries and a very strange salad bar (that we did not like). We had to hunt down the server to get coffee or juice--and I mean get up and chase her down. There were six of us and we got very little for $222. The acoustics were horrible and the place was very noisy. We had to yell at each other across the large table. When they asked how it was and we told them it was priced way too high for what was served, the manager said "Well, it's Mother's Day." Like it was OK to be gouged on Mother's Day. What an insult! Don't go there.
