Good diner for families and friends and golden agers.

Greasy spoon style kitchen with some unique breakfast offerings. I liked their gyro meat as an alternative to bacon, just seems they burnt it a bit too much (dry).

The Orange and grapefruit juice says fresh squeezed, which it definitely wasn't. But still good, but I always love fresh squeezed and order it if it's on a menu.

Food and service were good as expected for a busy diner style place. The food was not that homemade style or taste we were looking for, but a good value non the less.

Would recommend this place for families with children.

The newly remodeled restaurant is still great. There's now plenty of seating, and no reservations are required. The amount of food you get is quite good, and it's tasty. if there is any downside it's the staff, who are not quite as good as other restaurants in the area (not to say they are bad). They do have a policy of not allowing outside drinks (i.e. Starbucks Coffee which is less than a block away) unlike most restaurants in the area. If your looking for a good reasonably priced breakfast place in the area...this is the place.

We have gone to George's Place off and on over the years. Most recently we went there for breakfast after church. George's has undergone some remodeling this year (2017) and this was our first visit after all that had been completed.

The food has not changed - they have good coffee, good service and a very varied menu. A number of the dishes are Greek but there are about as many traditionally American dishes. I've tried a variety of things and it's all pretty good.

This visit I had the Eggs Benedict. It was well prepared and very enjoyable. You'll find that Sunday mornings are very busy and you will most likely have to wait for a table, but it's good food and with the remodel, light and bright.

The most notable change is that the inside is more open and a few more tables have been added. Additionally, they have installed glass garage doors so that they can be opened up in the summer to give the sense that you are dining on the sidewalk outside.

Georges is not fancy, but it really is good. I think they have fantastic burgers too. Give it a try if you have not done so before. It's been in Kirkland forever.

We went on a Saturday morning about 9:30am. So a busy breakfast time. We were seated pretty easily, as there was a table open. Coffee was brought right away. Friendly waitress. Lots of families ad couples. Fairly clean place, kind of a kitschy place, but not full blown, so the place may be stuck in a time-warp :) We ordered a Farmers breakfast and their Greek-style pancakes, although I forgot what they are called, but it is the pancake dish that has a Greek-type name. Not sure what makes them their namesake, other then the brown surgar/cinnamon/walnut/honey topping. But they were good. The Farmers plate was ok. Nothing really stood out. The eggs tasted like over-homogenized eggs, the has brown were crispy on the outside (yea!), but were like mas-potatoes on the inside (odd), the sausage patty was about as bland as it gets, and the toast was the whitest wheat I have ever seen -- plus the jelly/jam packets were really syrup (ick).
So not a bad place by any means, but there are places to get tasty food for the same price.
