After driving 300 miles checked in at 8 o'clock. I asked for 2 rooms for 2 nights. My mistake I signed for only one night Communication problem with desk clerk/owner Asian accent. Left a credit card for authorization. Husband over at the Unv of Washington for testing for a transplant. Left the room at 0630 hours to go to the hospital. When we returned at 4 in the afternoon after being at the hospital all day we were surprised to find that the management had removed ALL of our property including all my husband's medications, luggage, clothes, etc from room. They also did this to our adult son's room. The manager said they tried the phone number we left. Yes it is our home phone number- WE ARE NOT THERE. The managers to quote Dr. Phil are "right fighters" in other words they cannot admit that they made a mistake . They kept saying what were we suppose to do, we tried to contact you. The credit card did not go through, see what you signed last night. I do not know about you but I have often left a credit card for authorization with the intent to pay cash when I check out, They did admit that it did look like we intended to return but again the excuse: "What were we supposed to do." How about honoring the commitment to your satisfaction that is on all the Comfort Inn literature, how about not invading the privacy of your "valued guests", how about handling matters like this descretely and with respect? I know times are tough, but spend your hard earned dollar elsewhere. The rooms are nothing special.
