Located in the woods, not huge but has water, power, septic hookups. Good luck with Wi-Fi and cell reception is iffy. Watch movies as no tv. $40 a night. Some spots are quite small, we found one to accommodate our 41 foot 5th wheel.

Nice campground, good clean sites. However, the truck noise all night is unbearable. The air brakes from the trucks are going off all night and in order to sleep you either need a noise proof camper or a good pair of ear protection.

We stayed in RV site 17 but would have loved 16. We have 3 large dogs and 2 children. Spot 16 has a grassy little field next it. Which we used for football and baseball when the people camping in spot 16 left. 16 is directly under the power lines which can be annoying but it never kept us up. They offered afternoon learning sessions for the kids which is neat! There were many walking trails. It is right off of Hwy 97 we couldn't hear the traffic but most likely because we were on the backside. The camp host was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and they had a shower which my daughter was excited about. This is an older park that hasn't been updated but if you are looking to reconnect with your family it is perfect....added bonus your park reservation also gets you into the Goldendale Observatory for free. I strongly suggest you go! The stars out there were phenomenal and we saw saturn through the telescope. It's also super close to the Stonehedge replica which is a World War I memorial and then headed down to Maryhill State Park to swim in the River. What a great way to end our summer vacation!!!

After driving many hours we pulled in to Brooks, the camp host directed us to our reserved spot, we were very surprised to see only 1 other tent in our tenting area, he told us," nice spot by the creek" haha it was a puddle.I have used many a outhouse but YUK! Some kind if black fungus or mold was growing in the wood and cobwebs everywhere!Luckily it was nearly dark so I couldn't see how bad it probably really was.Only cold water in the taps at the flush toilets which were also very dirty. So the $50 Canadian ( reservation and campsite fee) was a little steep for someplace to pitch our tent
