Tasty curries, friendly staff, nice that's it's right by the ferry. A fun place to try if you just missed a ferry.

We have probably been here 6 times now. It's where the old Skippers was at, next to the ferry- it's not a fast food place. We've never had the buffet and stick to the menu. Have had several Tandoori items and several Vindaloo dishes, along with Naans. It's very authentic, well spiced, with great service. It's never crowded, too bad for the owner and a missed opportunity for the locals. Try something new!!

From the minute we walked in, and smelled the fabulous spicy dishes coming from the kitchen, we knew we were in the right place. It's a new restaurant, so we really didn't know if it would be any good, but it was.

We ordered pekoras, but there had been a big run on pekoras and they were out. The waitress suggested samosas, which we ordered, and when they came, I was transported back to the souks of Kuwait. They were exactly right, the right texture, the exact spicing, and too hot to eat, fresh out of the pot. Wow.

My friend ordered spinach with lamb, I ordered a gingery eggplant and the results were divine; the contrast was perfect, and each dish stood on its own, and delicious with the other.

We are used to eating Indian food overseas, in restaurants run for Indian customers. Our Indian friends will be astounded and delighted finding Vatika in Edmonds. It's right there on Main, just after you come off the ferry, where the old Skipper's restaurant used to be.
