Decided to try another hotel in Bellingham and was once again happy with our choice.

The hotel is conveniently located near the mall and other popular shopping areas. The Springhill is adjoined to the TownePlace Suites but we choice the Springhill because we didn't need a kitchen.

Parking for both hotels seems decent, although I can imagine it could get quite competitive during the peak travel months. There is surface parking both in front of and in back of the hotel, and a secured parkade.

The lobby is open and spacious and service at the desk was friendly and prompt. There is a nice little bar in the lobby, which seemed popular with a reasonably priced happy hour.

The 1 king room was very comfortable. Although not a huge room, it was laid out well with a sitting area complete with sectional couch and useable table in front of it, a work station, an area for the bar fridge and microwave, then a separated area for the bed.

The bathroom is separated with a toilet and small sink in one little room, and the main sink and shower next door. This worked well, other than that they are situated right at the foot of the bed which doesn't offer much privacy, especially as they only have those sliding doors too.

There is lots of storage space for your stuff, including a great custom built luggage rack by the window.

Despite all the families staying at the hotel, the rooms and hallways were quiet.

The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast in the lobby. There is plenty of seating and the breakfast is served in a nice, open area. Breakfast is more than typical with croissants, hot oatmeal with all the fixings, breads, fruit including bananas and freshly cut up pineapple and cantaloupe, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and bacon, waffles, and juices/milk/coffee/tea. Staff worked hard at cleaning up and replenishing the items, and the hours are extended until 10 am on the weekend, which is great.

As the hotel is directly adjoined to their other property, we took a walk down to look at their layout and breakfast and we felt that the Springhill was much more welcoming - more spacious, bright, modern, and with a better breakfast spread.

The indoor pool and hot tub area is shared by both properties and looked nice, but we didn't use either as they were being well-used by the families staying at the hotel. There is also a decent fitness room across from the pool.

All in all - another wonderful hotel in Bellingham that is reasonably priced.

We recently had a death in the family so have been making many trips to Bellingham in order to settle the estate. We chose this hotel the first time due to its location and high ratings on Trip Advisor but we continued booking here many times because of the excellent service, clean rooms, comfort and outstanding breakfast that is provided.

In the past 3 weeks we have stayed 4 times (with several more times planned in the near future) and have never been disappointed. I'm so impressed with the staff, from housekeeping, to the front desk, to the staff who man the breakfast area. Every single person we have come across has been extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have great lighting (something that is important to me). The breakfast is something we actually look forward to each morning. Everything is well stocked and replenished. Cut melon, strawberries, pineapple, scrambled eggs that are actually very tasty, bacon, plus the usual make-your-own waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, and very good fresh muffins.

If there's anything I would change, it would be the doors on the bathrooms in the rooms. They're frosted/clear, so if someone uses the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light shines out into the room. Since that's the only thing I haven't liked, I give this hotel 5 stars. Everything else is that good.

We stayed here for two nights. One before our week long boat charter and one after. Both nights we found the stay to be comfortable and the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. While the rooms were nice and the hotel had a small weight room and pool our favorite amenity was the complementary shuttle service which we used extensively during our stay. It saved us from having to rent a car for the week and the various drivers Zach, RJ and a young lady who's favorite color was blue and orange helped us find places to eat and get to all the places we needed to go during our stay. Zach was also willing to help me get back to a restaurant I had mistakenly left some souvenirs at. Top notch service well worth considering if your in the area.

We recently stayed here for 4 days while attending a conference in bellingham. Our family really enjoyed the hotel. There is a Costco and a Fred Meyers within a 5 minute walk. We also walked to Bellis Fair which took 15 minutes - an easy pleasant walk. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 5 miles. We did use the shuttle one day and it was great. There is also a bus stop almost in front of the hotel.
Highlights:
- rooms are a good size - microwave, fridge and cofee maker in the room were all helpful to have. We had no issues with noise.
- the pool and hot tub were great for the kids - the pool area is very bright and has lots of sunlight due to 2 walls of windows.
- the gym area was nice - exercise equipment was nice and well maintained
- the free breakfast was great. The breakfast attendants always kept the food well-stocked and always quickly picked up dirty dishes. The breakfast attendants really work hard and are doing a great job. The food itself was hot and fresh - there was a great variety of food. You wll not go hungry.
- the front desk staff was great - Cindee and Tanya was cheerful and welcoming. They answered questions and were great to deal with.
We would definitely stay here again!
