Midweek we arrived for dinner at 5pm, we were seated immediately. The dining room was starting to fill as we finished our meal. Both dinners were served promptly, hot and tastey. Servings were very generous, chips and salsa plentiful.

Upon coming in we were greeted, seated, given salsa and our orders taken. The salsa is very spicy but we love spicy so we loved it. There was two different kinds provided. Our food came out pipping hot! Both of our entrees were delicious. A big plus was they kept our waters full and checked to see how we were doing throughout. Will go back for sure!!

Delicious! This older Battle Ground establishment does a fine job creating a delightful Mexician dish. Their margaritas are fantastic. The decor of the restaurant is Mexician charm. The service is fast and friendly. I'd recommend this restaurant to any Mexician food lover.

We always have the impressions that the quality of Mexican food is inversely proportional to the distance from the border. El Rancho Viejo broke that formula. We actually came to this restaurant by mistake. We were told to go to Cerviche in a big building that we couldn't miss. We did and we were happy that we did.
We were greeted in Spanish. There were only a slight drop in the owner's face when we didn't want to order any alcoholic drinks. The taco carbonara and chile releno were very delicious. Chips were warm and crispy. In fact one of the best Mexican food we tasted.
