I'm Greek, and this great little place just off Hwy 503 serves delicious, reasonably priced, well prepared food. It's our quick go to when we visit our daughter in Brush Prairie.
Friendly owner, great service.

We spent 6 years living among the Arab people in Hebron Palestinian Territories and thoroughly enjoyed the food there. Living in California one would think we could find Middle Eastern food that tasted authentic, but so far no. Who would have known we would have to travel to Battle Ground Washington to find the real stuff!

The owner was kind and hospitable, the service attentive and portions generous keeping with Middle East hospitality.

My daughter ordered the Vegetarian Mezza so we were able to taste a variety of dishes and they all tasted like "home"

My mother ordered a lamb and chicken dinner which was very tasty
I ordered a Kofta meal, one of my favorite dinners, and it was wonderful.

The Pita House is in a strip mall but signage is pretty good. It is casual dining. Prices are very good.

This could be a wonderful restaurant if they did not cut corners , As an example their appetizers are of poor quality with the best of the region missing, This restaurant has limited menu - almost all Shawarma dishes served as very small pieces of meat , almost appearing chopped.. Although not authentic I am sure many folks will find this to be a step above Taco Bell although more expensive,. If they would only step up to the plate and offer the best of the region with better appetizers they may last for the long run,

So, get in your car, cross the Glen Jackson - you won't explode - and come to Battle Ground, specifically Pita House. (No. NOT Pita Pit.)

Come for the mint tea...the pita bread, the shwarma..the hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baklava, among many delicious things in a nice sized menu. And the charming gracious owner.

We are super picky about middle eastern foods, and we go weekly..what does that tell you?

Simple, the place is awesome!!!

Good food at a fair price; lunch or dinner portions served at all times. Owner/operator is cheerfull and attentive to service. We have dined there about six times and have been satisfied every time.
