If you are staying anywhere near Winchester VA this should be your only choice for accommodations. The staff specializes in customer service. The pool and hot tube has a European Spa atmosphere. The location is perfect. The rooms are an outstanding value with all the amenities and near flawless. My only complaint is that without disclosure they add a charge for your non-optional in room safe. Why not add a charge for the clock, I didn't use that either

This hotel gets loud. The rooms are not very well insulated so I could hear the multiple conversations from the room next door, or wedding party (the weekend we stayed there was a hotel on Friday and Saturday night) guests loudly returning to their rooms. The room itself is clean and comfortable but it's overshadowed by the noise from the guests in the hallway or adjoining rooms. No street noise, just guests!

Location wise it's perfect. We arrived on Friday and left Saturday, and we didn't have to go to our car once. It's perfect for walking around, so it gets a bonus for being centrally located. The King room was huge and the fridge and microwave were great for storing and reheating our leftovers. Parking is valet or you can use the lot (limited spaces) or the garage next door (pay). We just used valet.

The pool was gross but usable. Towels provided. Water available next to the small, but clean, gym on the basement level.

We did not eat at the hotel. The WiFi never worked and I feel that this should be a basic, provided function given the year. Also, one of two elevators did not work so getting to the room was time consuming.

I'm not sure I would stay here again but there are limited options in the area. It would be a trade off for a sound sleep or location.

The hotel stood our from the 8 hotels on our journey as a highlight, though we only hoped for a good night's sleep.

We stayed here coming home from Virginia beach as a pitt stop... the location is the best and you can walk right down to a strip of outdoor restaurants, bars and shopping. The rooms are clean but they aren't like a standard hotel especially like the new Hyatts and Marriotts, they are far from modern but they do have charm. The rooms are much smaller with big furniture. Almost feels like you are staying at a bed and breakfast more than a hotel. The room service was fair price and delicious. The pictures of the pool area make it seem amazing but beware, the pool is very very cold for an indoor pool. The hot tub however was AMAZING. Not the best hotel for kids, we had our 2 year old with us and you have to walk through the spa to get to the pool and its frowned upon to have a loud toddler walk through hahaha too bad for them, we all know you cant control a 2 year olds noise level! I would only stay there again because of the location.

Room Tip: Ask for an end room like 506, its a bigger king with a couch and coffee table.
