The unit was very nice but if someone is over you it can get noisy. The grounds are beautiful and there is a general store, coffee shop, pools and miniature golf. It is also a gated community. I have been there 4 times and will go back.
This is the second time we have stayed at the Powhatan. They are in the middle of updating many of the condos. We stayed in an older condo a few years ago and an updated version this year. They have really done a nice job. We used a Timeshare exchange to visit the resort. The bedrooms were both large and nicely appointed. Bathrooms were very nice.
We had some problems with our TV. It wouldn't turn on originally. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it came on. I didn't report the issue because we made a pledge to watch as little TV as possible.
Using the Time Share exchange as often as we do we realize that you're never quite sure what to expect in the kitchen. Our Kitchen was very well stocked, pans were in good shape for cooking and we had everything we needed.
Indoor pool was nice and there was plenty available to do on the resort.
The only problem I had with the stay was the number of times they tried to get us to attend one of their meetings to sell us a time share. We explained that we were already owners and weren't interested in buying anything more. They offered all kinds of incentives to get us there and even called on the final day of our stay offering a $149 getaway at any Diamond resort if we would agree to go to one of their meetings at that stay.
If you don't mind going to a sales meeting or saying no to the requests to go I like the Powhatan.
