This was our second stay at one of the most charming country inns we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. We discovered the Middleton Inn serendipitously last year while searching for an inn that was not only charming, but also dog friendly (cat and horse friendly too - all rescues). We were there in October, 2016 with perfect autumn weather. Mary Ann had us stay in the darling dog friendly " love" cottage. Too cute. Doggie treat basket along with a quilt to put on the sofa just in case Chessie managed to sneak up while we were dining at the Inn at lIttle Washington. Everything that has been said in other glowing reviews is absolutely true. It is the epitome of a charmingly elegant home filled with well loved Antiques & rugs, all wrapped into a make yourself comfortable and enjoy a glass of wine atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious and not to be missed. Mary Ann's warm gracious hospitality just makes the Middleton Inn experience. Dusty, the inn manager, is lovely and can't do enough for you.
Our second stay was September 6th with Chessie back to our favorite cottage. Once again we had the same memorable experience. We can't wait to return. We'll be making this an annual trip. More
