“Also underwhelmed”
Reviewed 24 April 2012

Not sure why Food Network was so excited; all 3 things we wanted to order they were out of; we were told 'we only have 4 burners' so family take out orders have to be ordered several days ahead; my husband liked the stuffed meatballs, mine were not so good; would never go back

“What a great treat to have this in Virginia Beach”
Reviewed 20 April 2012

We went based on recommendations from friends and were not disappointed at all. Gilda (owner) greeted us with a smile and a fantastic Italian accent. She was so delightful, asked about our likes and dislikes and made suggestions as to what we should have to eat.

The waitress was attentive, service was great and the food was delicious.

Stuffed Meatballs are awesome. We had the Gnocchi and pannini and both were excellent.

Will go many more times!!

“Underwhelmed”
Reviewed 17 April 2012

We made a special trip for lunch during a spring break trip to Virginia Beach on the strength of other Trip Advisor reviews. We were disappointed. Our table wasn't very clean and server seemed to be in a bad mood. We had a long wait for the food and the paninis and salad were just o.k. However, some of the pastries looked absolutely amazing and what I had for dessert (a ricotta pie) was both unusual and delicious. Try this place for coffee and a pastry but maybe not for lunch items.

“Great little place!”
Reviewed 17 April 2012

It may be small and maybe somtimes its crowded and th staf tries their best but what can you expect. Every place has an off moment. But its worth it. They pour their love and hard work in every dish and baked good. I mean you can be picky and say "I had to get up for creamers or the staff was new" but come on little things that if the owners could be upfront every second they would fix. I knoe because they try to make rounds and give every table a warm welcome and do everything from bus tables t get your coffee. So for me I loved the food. I loved the staff and I'm willing to ignore the little oops and enjoy this little cafe with a lot of charcter and wonderful warm feeling.

“Panini's to Die For”
Reviewed 5 February 2012

We visit Rigoletto's at least monthly for their awesome Paninis. The owners and staff are the best! When we heard they were going to be on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives", we were sure to watch it. Sure enough, they showed two specialities we hadn't tried yet. We made a point to try them both on our next visit. NOT disappointed! The stuffed meatballs are to die for! The Florintina panini, ditto!!
You will be pleased with your experience, trust me. Don't forget the delicious baked goods for dessert or to go!
