“Great vintage planes”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

My grandson loved this place. He was six when we visited. One of the docents (a retired WWII pilot) took him on a personal tour of each plane and exhibit. Andrew's favorite was not a plane, but a motorcycle and side car like the one in Indiana Jones. Sometimes they are flying the planes, but we haven't caught that yet.

“Lots and lots of walking, replica's”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

Visited the Military Aviation Museum. Tour was led by a very knowledgeable gentelman, tho the 'tour' went a little long - would have just preferred to explore on our own. We were able to drive down to the back hanger, but still there was quite a walk, not good for someone as myself with mobility issues. When we returned to the main museum I spent the rest of the time on a chair while the rest of the family explored (I cannot walk for long)

“AMAZING MUSEUM AND AIRSHOW - BEST EVER”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

Real aircraft, in full working order, right up-close. The chance to talk with pilots, and to witness the amazing machines in the air. Worth the trip - thanks!

“Great museum”

We took our 5 year old airplane loving son and 9 year old daughter, we had a guide with Scott who was fantastic. Very informative and well kept. Enjoyed a few hours at the museum and a must see in Virginia Beach.

“A terrific aviation museum”
Reviewed 17 April 2012

I admit it. I'm a military aviation nut, especially World War 2 aircraft. What a find this place turned out to be! Wonderful special programs featuring actual aircrew members, exciting aircraft - including my personal favorite, the Corsair - and knowledgeable docents on hand to answer questions for some memorable 'hanger talk'.
