This was a nice little aquarium. In addition to the local marine life, he main attractions were the sea turtles, sharks and seals. It consisted of 2 buildings connected by a nature trail that took 10-15 minutes to walk between. it was nice that the cafeteria had lots of healthier food choices.

I always recommend that people visit this aquarium when I know they will be visiting VA beach. This is one of the best aquariums in the east that we have visited. All the exhibits are well maintained. I also love the nature trail which is a nice addition to have at an aquarium. My daughter whose 4 and a half enjoyed the Sting ray pool where she could try to pet them. There are also helpful and friendly volunteers on hand to give u helpful information on the exhibits.
