We booked an overnight stay here traveling back from vacation in TN. We stayed with our 5, 7, & 8 year olds & got a room with the pullout couch & 2 queen beds.

As a hiltons honors member, mobile check-in and app keys made accessing the room a breeze. The hotel had a nice modern feel, but there was construction going on on the floor we stayed on.

Our pullout didn’t have bedding and there wasn’t any in the closet. There was not a phone in the room, so we used the messaging app to request bedding. We never received a response. We had to trek down to the front desk to get bedding.

The tub had a weird rust (?) spot. Eww.

There were no carts available for checkout so we had to carry all our belongings.

There was only one working elevator so getting the belongings we were carrying downstairs was challenging at best.

Our neighbor had barking dogs and put on very loud music starting at 5a. The walls were thin. There was not a good way to report this, as there were no phones in the room and apparently no one monitors their app.

Aside from the tub, the room seemed clean, but I would not stay here again.

Our overnight stay was totally uneventful, the best way for an accommodation to be. We were welcomed by Raphael at the front desk. He explained the hotel was full, causing our room to be upgraded at no extra charge. Everything was spotlessly clean. Raphael gave us an excellent suggestion for a restaurant where everything was made from scratch. Breakfast was standard Hilton well prepared and presented. When passing through Roanoke we will reserve here again without hesitation.

Room tip: Apple’s map app could not find the hotel; it kept us going in circles in the neighborhood. Google got us there just fine.

Bath tubs have rust in them. We changed rooms twice. The curtains and lamp shade were stained. Customer service and complimentary breakfast were great. The location is great and is close to a lot of restaurants and the mall. The rooms are a nice size.

We recently stayed at this hotel based on all of the positive reviews but were pretty disappointed. Let's post the positive first.

The bed was very comfortable and the A/C was amongst the quietist for a hotel room I have experienced and worked well. The microwave worked and there were two each of std and decaf coffee pods in the room along with a 24hr coffee bar in the lobby. The hotel and rooms are appointed pretty well with one exception being that there was only one small waste can in a room with two queen beds. There needs to be an additional one next to the desk or somewhere in the main space along with the one in the bathroom. Now the bad.

Upon arriving we were told at checkin that the two queen bed suite room we booked online days earlier was not available. What?? We were told by the clerk rather indifferently that the website cannot allow for rooms out of repair, etc and that there were no more of the suites. He did offer us a regular two queen bed room at a reduced rate. It was late and we didn't feel like shopping around, so OK. To his credit, there were indeed two rooms on each floor that were boarded up from outside and had zip walls covering the entrance doors.

Upon looking the room over (322) there was chewing gum stuck on the carpet at the desk, the wall paper next to the mirror is stained/dirty and there are several spots on the bathroom wall paper that look bleached out. Also, the refrigerator was barely cooler than the room temperature. I certainly would not put anything in there that needed to keep.

At breakfast the next morning the sausage links and omelets were almost refrigerator cold and one of the coffee urns of regular blend was out. Upon asking the breakfast bar person if they took care of the coffee to politely let them know it needed refilling we were told rather smugly that no, the front desk takes care of that. For what it's worth, breakfast the next couple of days was better.

I don't like to be a complainer but thought that both potential renters as well as the hotel management would like to know about our experience. Hopefully future guests will have a better experience. The place certainly has potential.

We stayed in a king bed suite. Plenty of space to spread out. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was on the firm side. Breakfast was fantastic. Oatmeal, fresh cut fruit, eggs, bacon, potatoes, pastries, etc. The ladies restocking the food stood out to me. They kept everything refreshed on a busy morning and were so nice. I would definitely stay again.
