We were coming in from a long drive in between destinations and found this place. The manager helped us out with getting a room and the room was lovely, comfortable and a wonderful 360 view. The historic building is lovely and has modern updates and touches...very clean and easy to walk anywhere in the city. I highly recommend.More

We had a little "mom & dad" weekend getaway and picked somewhere within an hour drive from our home. We wanted to stay somewhere with a fun downtown so we could walk wherever we wanted to go. The Liberty Trust hotel was the perfect spot! The hotel is brand spankin' new and fabulous. We had a great view overlooking the city and the beautiful blue ridge mountains. Great service too. Once we parked, we didn't have to worry about a thing - we ate, drank, and ran around downtown until we were ready for bed. It was so easy to check in and out too. Highly recommend!

Location is great for walking to great dining. Parking is convenient for an urban hotel. Rooms are nice and roomy with views of the city. Service by all was friendly and efficient. What more can one ask for. We’ll be back!

What a gem! We loved everything from the building, the ambiance once you step inside, the friendliness of the staff and the room! We recently celebrated our anniversary and chose this new hotel. I was sick on our actual anniversary and had to call to move our reservation. The gentleman was extremely friendly and helpful in getting our reservation moved. Upon arrival and checking in we were pleasantly surprised that we were given a complimentary upgrade! The room was big and spacious. Everything was meticulously clean. Dinner and entertainment are literally steps away. We can’t brag enough about how pleased we were. Looking forward celebrating many more anniversaries at The Liberty Trust.

This is a lovely hotel. Someone did a great job of converting a bank into a hotel. I have no complaints about the hotel or staff. Both were great. Also, you really cannot beat the location. It is mere seconds from the Amtrak station and VERY close to several restaurants.
Unfortunately, the hotel is close to a number of bars. I happened to stay on a weekend and nearby bar patrons and car drivers were VERY loud late at night, Maybe the hotel could install different windows to dampen the noise.

Absolutely loved this spot. The location is perfect- literally everything downtown is walkable from this location. The building is SO cool- tons of history. Clean and bright, super friendly staff. Best of all it's affordable for what you get. We got a free upgrade as well. Definitely not ready to leave at the end of the weekend! Can't wait to go back!
