This hotel looked nice, was conveniently located near Radford University, and was economically priced. It had several helpful amenities, including an electrical outlet and USB ports by the bed, plus fast wifi service. It was easy to adjust the heat to the desired temperature. The room had a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a coffee maker, but I didn't use them.
Unfortunately, the mattress was lumpy and sagged on one side, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. There was plenty of hot water, but the adjustable showerhead didn't adjust; there was only one stream of water, which made showering a challenge. The shower rod sagged in the middle, and the shower cutain slid from the front of the shower towards the middle several times during my shower. This meant water leaked onto the floor. There was mildew on the shower curtain. Only one hand towel was provided for 2 guests. The toilet paper was of lower quality, and the tissues were rough.
Breakfast offerings included fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, cereal, juice and coffee. The apples were neatly wrapped in individual sandwich bags. There was a tip jar in the breakfast area.
We were mistakenly charged as "No Show" for the night before our scheduled arrival, but were told that charge has been reversed. My lower rating is due to the mattress and the shower. This hotel has great amenities, but needs to pay more attention to the basics.More
