Set on lovely grounds full of fruit trees, the chalets are quite private and supplied with everything you will need for a short stay. Owner Jonathan was very friendly and helpful, giving us lots of hints and advice on the area. The apartment was clean and the heat pump worked well and there was plenty of hot water.

The local shops and restaurants are within less than a 10 minute walk and a great base for exploring Bay of Islands. I recommend the Saturday market on the outskirts of the town that sells local food and crafts. The chocolate factory, Makana, which was a 1 min drive up the road really lives up to its reputation - delicious!

Just a note for the town, most of the shops are shut on Saturday afternoons and many restaurants are not open on Sunday evenings.

Room Tip: The outdoor seating area of chalet #10 does not catch the sun which was a shame

The chalet was superb and the site super. The location regarding the town centre and shops is very handy.
Staff went out of their way to catch up with us following an item we left behind.
Would thoroughly recommend if wanting to stay in the area of the Bay of Islands as easy access north and south.

Peaceful location within Kerikeri and easy to find. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The chalet was well equipped, a good size for the two of us and lovely and clean. Owners very helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at Kerigold. The chalets are lovely and very well equipped, but its the setting that makes it. Set in an orchard of citrus trees where you can help yourself to fruit, and avocados(a novelty for us Brits) plus a lovely garden with seating areas its so quiet and peaceful. The owners really work hard to make this place and your stay special. Pool nice for a dip after a long day. Great location for visiting Bay of Islands and there is a fabulous bakery within two min walk which is not good for the waistline!!!!!!. Would love to come back.
