Interesting complex of self contained apartments including self check-in, ie no reception. 2 bedroom apartment with good size lounge and dining area. Functional kitchen will all appliances. Nice rear deck if needed and as mentioned in other comments, parking at the door or in garage if needed. Bed quire comfortable and good shower with a rating of 4/5. A bit tricky to get to the 1st time but once sorted, very central location, closer to Dandenongs than the City

We had a 3 bedroom 2 bath room apartment , which was quiet and comfortable

The apartment is tired. Carpets are stained, the filter pad dropped out of the noisy (but effective) air conditioner and the Tv Foxtel controller was hit and miss.

Needs an update but would still recommend it as a comfortable place to stay in the area.

Just a good carpet clean and some basic maintenance is all that's needed.

very roomy 2 bed apartment in a quiet complex. Parking right outside the door - perfect for unloading the car. Décor and furniture all comfortable rather than latest fashion. Plenty of toiletries, dishwashing liquid etc. Loved the local wildlife - a parliament of magpies who visited at dusk and sometimes dawn for a feed. This place met expectations and was low stress. We visited in summer. Very good value for money especially for family or group and you can easily entertain friends.

Room tip: It is best to have a car for this location

Had a wonderful stay over night at The Forest. The newly renovated rooms were beautiful, not to mention all the great appliances on hand such as Miele washing machine, oven and dishwasher. The added treat was our little balcony overlooking the well manicured garden. You had a sense of being somewhere in Europe while enjoying the complimentary wine which went with our "Tom Roberts" accomodation package. I would make this a must to stay at for anyone visiting Canberra.

Hidden gem in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. As the apartments are all set back from Canterbury Road it is very quiet. We were impressed by the overall cleanliness.
Our only disappointment was the lack of security with no on site management or CCTV.
