We tried this attraction when were in hotel Tryp Cayo Coco. Their representative came to hotel during breakfast time and offered to take a trip. Price 20cuc per person. Boat coming to the beach in front of hotel at fixed time. All trip takes ~ 1,5 hours. Boat going not far from hotel, to coral reef. My opinion that this glass in the boat not give any value. For example, we was sitting outside above during trip and when boat stoped went for swimming. Maybe it is for people who can't or won't to swim. For snorkeling You can take your own equipment, but if you haven't everything could get in the boat. Reef was not impressive for me. But it was funny to swim with many fishes around you. They are not very varies, we saw only two kind of fishes, but they were nice and were a lot of them. Of course it is interesting to feed them near you when swimming - don't forget to take some bread from hotel!
Who wants there is possibility to jump from the top of the boat to the sea.
Summerizing- if you have had snorkeling in other much more nice places, it won't be impressive. But if not, it quite interesting. I say it is attraction which could break the monotony of your's lazy days on the beach. If you have extra 20cucs - go!

This snorkeling trip was okay. We did see some fish, but it was a bit windy when we went, so we didn't see a ton and it was a bit cool on the boat. The guides were okay, but not overly friendly (which is a bit unusual as the Cuban people are very friendly in general). It cost 20 pesos per adult and 10 pesos per child. The whole trip was about 2 hours long.

Good price and trip. Ocean was a bit rough, so hard for newbie snorkelers. Was fun just floating in the ocean though.

Fish weren't as colourful as I thought they would be.

Tour Guides swam with the younger children that wanted to snorkel when their parents didn't.

At 20 CUC each you get 1.5 hours on the boat. They take you to a small reef to snorkel. You can't really see much through the glass bottom so if you aren't snorkeling probably not worth the money. You didn't have to buy through your travel rep so could go only on a day the weather was good. A big plus because we also went on the catamaran to snorkel but it was so windy that day you couldn't snorkel.
We thought it was good value for the money.

We took this tour from one of the sales people (Carlos) on the beach very interesting excursion and recommend if you would like to see what it is like under the sea!
