How do you say: Home away from home, in spanish? HOTEL MOJITO! From the first moment we arrived there we were treated like family. Ariel Moreno-Martínez’s Team checked us in late at night with a welcoming smile. Raquel Viñas Cepero was there to guide us to our rooms. Aldo was ready with a cold beverage and a handshake at the lobby bar! Each day we were greeted with a smile from all of the staff. The guest services staff made sure we never missed anything, the 3 amigos Ramon Cabezas Palmero, Ulicer Ramirez and Noel Montes de Oca are amazing. Lixander Palenzuela always had a hot coffee ready for me in the morning and an iced coffee at lunch and a great rum punch from Guillermo. The buffet staff are always moving, they do their absolute best to ensure you are happy, within their means. Yoana Polle , and Carlos Miguel Sebastián Portal and so many more. Yes Cuba has seasonal shortages and may have limited selection but you are never hungry. The El Malecon is great for a more quiet, and relaxed meal with Greyvis Romero Pimentel and Taismary Fernandez , where you can enjoy the sunset from the boardwalk. The entertainment staff want to make your vacation one to remember. Mandy , Mary , Sanin Dominguez, and Yoan Manuel Cervantes managed to teach me a few dance moves. The evening entertainment is always fun to watch, the dancers were born doing the salsa and it shows! The only sad part about the Mojito, is leaving! We look forward to being back soon!
**To the rumors that the hotel is closing. They are false. That the hotel is having shortages. Of course Cuba is having shortages all the time, but I never missed anything I could survive without.
