Love this place. Fabulous food, great setting and friendly faces to welcome you. The food all appears to be homemade and I have never had a bad experience here no matter what I order. The rice pudding was a naughty but delicious pud, full of cream and yumminess. Oh yes, I will be back yet again shortly.

Easy booking, table was ready. Service was a little slower than normal as it was a busy Sunday morning, but not unduly long. Friendly staff and we got exactly what we ordered, cooked to perfection.

This is our 6th trip to Sumners and as always it's excellent. It is my boyfriend's birthday weekend and we booked dinner there 13/4/18. The safe are polite, friendly and we got excellent service. I brought a cake with me and kept it for me and they sang happy birthday to phil and were just lovely. We always enjoy staying and eating here. Highly recommended. Thank you all.

Had dinner there twice recently. Very nice tasty food and good value for the portions and quality of food too. Nicely presented also.

Camp site setting which has music some nights and quiz nights others. Set on a lake near the campers.

We had sausage and bubble and squeak and fish and chips, plus last time we had chicken in a sauce and chicken pie. Puddings also good.

Only small downside, school leavers who serve, although very pleasant and helpful, could do with a bit more training as in how to serve customer's.
We were kept waiting at the door on the first occasion with no acknowledgment by the staff for a good 10 mins before we were shown to our table and had to ask twice for our drinks.

And lastly, the herd of cattle we passed near the car park were adorable in the barn, but it put us off the burgers! Didn't put me off the sausage meal (if they were beef sauages!) but didn't really want to see the soulful eyes of the cows before we possibly ate them?!!!

But otherwise, very nice ambience and would go back again.

Been here many times, breakfast, lunch , supper . My what an absolute jewel of a cafe!!
Don’t b put off by the immediate entrance, this is a working farm.
Over the last 3 years we have visited and dined here, it has always been a delight
Today no exception !
The cafe is , in our opinion “ New England “ welcoming and like an old friend
Staff , caring and lovely, food divine.
Roast beef today, tender , and full of flavour. Veg , plentiful, and delicious
Wine , soft drinks , great
Gin and tonic cheese cake. Splendid !!
My advice, Reserve a table, so you will not be disappointed, and arrive . Oh one more point. Value for money? If you want quality, this is the place for you, excellent. We love it !!!
