We were staying locally and were in need of a cuppa so 10 adults & 2 children popped in for refreshments. Very busy place (last table seated us all) licensed, lunches, cakes, ice cream, beautiful looking artisan pizza-huge selection including gluten free cake of the chocolate variety! Fast and good service even when busy.

This place is often very busy, and has a pleasant atmosphere, with good service, good coffee and perfectly acceptable food.

The downside is the noise! Oftentimes it is almost impossible to easily converse with companions, such is the noise of general conversation. This problem could probably be ameliorated by the strategic use of some soft furnishings, which might deaden the din.

Was taken by friends who live nearby. It was a rainy Saturday and the place was packed. I was amazed how quickly we were served. The staff worked hard and were polite and friendly. The food was delicious. Just what we were looking for.
