Friendly helpful staff.
Went above and beyond during a personal emergency. Showed great empathy and understanding and all after very short notice booking.
The lodge is well situated and the only gripe is no free parking on site.

We were shocked to discover our room was not due to be cleaned/ serviced during our stay. We had to get supplies ( tea, coffee, milk , toilet rolls and towels) & get our bins emptied. After complaints the room was serviced on the third day but friends staying did not get this done.
A hotel room should be cleaned daily. Breakfast service was poor as well sadly due to lack of staff ( tables not cleaned/cleaned etc)! Other visits to Travelodges have been without problems.
Hotel still seemed to be operating under COVID conditions. Staff were notably absent, room wasn’t serviced unless specifically requested, reception was constantly unmanned etc
Doreen was highlight of the stay. She kept the breakfast buffet topped up, was friendly, and genuinely cared about your experience. Nothing was too much trouble
We had issues with the prepaid WiFi which weren’t resolved and the reception staff didn’t seem to care. Now we have to go through customer service to get our money back. Very frustrating
Room was dirty stains on the carpet big stains. Was really overpriced. Bed was really uncomfortable bathroom was awful slow water pressure and cold rubbish soap. Breakfast was OK but so understaffed coffee machine not working we left a day early could not stand to stay in that depressing room any longer
A pleasant stay in very affordable accomodation. Clean and well organised facility and room. Staff always attentive, welcoming and helpful. Would strongly recommend this hotel as an ideal place to stay and covenient for whatever you are doing on the island.
