Great central location with Newport accessible on foot. The carpark nearby is very reasonably priced costing only £1 overnight from 6pm-8am. We took our two dogs and so paid the £40 extra to have them in the room with us. As expected the room seemed a bit more “well used”, but this is probably because it was a dog room. We are just grateful that there is a hotel that allows our furry family members to join us for our time away so thank you Travelodge for allowing pets to stay. We had breakfast on the morning we checked out and it was fabulous. The food was cooked perfectly and there was lots of choice. Doreen went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and took the time to have a lovely conversation with us. Doreen is definitely a big asset to Travelodge. It has been a long time since an employee at a hotel has impressed us and made us feel so welcome as she did. Thank you Doreen for everything. Overall, a great family & pet friendly hotel in a great location with a gem of a cook, Doreen, and wonderful breakfast.

It’s a nice hotel as expected. Easy to travel with car - a car park is only 1min away. Located in central area with walking distance from various shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Would recommend for a short stay at Isle of Wight

Very central, modern, clean hotel. Rooms very comfortable and food was good. Pleasant and helpful staff. Car park on the next block and quite reasonable for 24 hour segments. Cost varies according to season but is very competitive and bargains are to be had.
