We loved staying at this very well run hotel in the quiet village of Lenk. Miriam was so helpful - rooms with views of the mountains were so clean and cozy and the food was very generous and delicious.

Room Tip: love the rooms on the top floor facing the mountains!

This is a marvellously located hotel in the fairly small village of Lenk. Part of the rooms have a splendid view of the Wildstrubel. It is comfortable and the service is particularly friendly. The restaurant is excellent.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side have the fine view.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of the village which has great views either over the Wildstrubel and Jungfraujoch or over the village and surrounding mountains. The room was immaculate and warm and welcoming. We had a lovely balcony in a corner room. Breakfast and the evening meal we ate there was great and typically priced for the area. The only small complaint we had was that all the wood in the room creaked a lot from the heating as you were trying to sleep or as you were waking which made it hard to sleep. And as the room overlooked the main road, we could hear cars coming and going all night. However, despite this I would certainly recommend it to anyone coming to the area. Lenk is also a lovely village and whilst perhaps not as picturesque as the nearby Gstaad, we felt it was busier and had more to offer.

Room Tip: Aim for a room on the 2nd floor or above.. the corridors on the lower levels looked much less warm and friendly altho I can't speak for the rooms themselves.

That was our 2nd best winter holiday ever... Also Switzerland certainly isn't the cheapest place on the globe it seemed worth every dime. The Alps are just BEAUTIFUL there! Peaceful and refreshing.

The hotel is 50 meters away from the railway station. We unequivocally advise to use SBB railroads - it's comfortable and exact, just like all Swiss watches I have. We rented a car at Hertz at Gstaad, but hardly used it (waste of money), and just enjoyed our stay at Lenk, travelling wherever was needed by SBB. The hotel also resides in a ten minute walk from the ski lift, that takes skiers to very pictoresque and friendly slopes. There are also numerous "wanderwegs" (paths for hiking) over there for those who don't ski, but are in love with the incredible alpian air and amazing landscapes.

The people at the hotel are very friendly, it was pleasure to deal with them. The only setback is that the absolute majority of written announcements and all kinds of paper are in German only. The hotel is very clean which is a characteristic feature of Switzerland as a whole. The room, the bed and the bathroom are all ok. The view from the room was very calm and beautiful in the morning: the Lenk village beyond, mountains and sky above.

Unfortunately, our impression about each and every spa zone we visit have been always heavily inluenced by the four-star Seefischer hotel in Austria, which possesses an almost PERFECT, if not outstanding spa facility, and a very rare peer of the class is able to compete with it. Regrettably, Wildstrubel is not among those.

What we would also heartily recommend to you is the food, especially the local products. You hardly would be able to drink any other milk or eat other eggs afterwards. The restaurant boasts some gourmet chef d'oeuvres as well, that are really worth tasting.

Our conclusion: a very attractive place to stay for almost everybody. A very good holiday.
