wow, what a feast. Very casual bar right next to the beach...and concrete factory. Simple decor, plastic chairs but the food was wonderful. Incredibly busy and packed with locals.Low to moderate prices. Probably the best paella and fish i have ever eaten, nothing overcomplicated, just honest food made of fresh, high quality ingredients. No chips, no greasy pizzas, all tasty and served very fast. Very efficient sevice, you won't get 'your' waiter, once the food is ready is being served by first available one. Very well done, will be back.

El Boya is packed on a sunny weekend afternoon. This is a very casual place. We had to ask multiple times for a second knife and the plates were way too small for the food. However, the fried octopus was delicious 8 euro, and the fresh fish which was sort of deep fried whole fish was quite good at 7.5 euro. Fun and very good value.

We went to El Boya as it was recommended as a very authentic place. We came several times for lunch here and tried 14 different dishes. I have my favourites (pulpo frito, papas, paella), but all were well cooked and tasted great. The service is quite fast and the atmosphere is hectic, as the waiters are working all the time without any minute of rest. Prices are very adjusted and the overall feeling is that you ate great at a good price. I cannot understand people saying this place is overrated or that you need to wait or that they came on a Thursday and was closed or that they should admit credit cards. All that is known and public. Yet the place is crowded and the comments from the people there remain the same: good enough to repeat. Recommended!

This is a typical local fish restaurant by the beach, run by family for I think 50 years. Very fast cooking, so no waiting for food. Serving are thought that you order several things and share. For 2 persons lunch 3 plates is OK, for dinner add more. If you come for lunch in week-ends there are people in line, but they are fast and have a good and fair system if you wait. And they make the food fast, so not long wait. Only thing not perfect is that that their bread is double-baked, hard to eat and not tasty. But come there for fish and other see-food.

We visited El Boya the last 10-15 years, once a year. It’s still a nice place to be, local food, local ambiance, always busy. The menu didn’t change, but quality seems to get less during these years. Maybe they got too well known?
