Stayed here back in February 2014 with 2 other friends for a birthday (103 and 104 with sea views).

Champagne on arrival which was unexpected but very welcome!

The hotel restaurant, Rompeolas, had very fresh produce - probably the best we had in the city.

Breakfast and dinner was always served with a smile from the lovely waitress. In fact, all staff - especially those on reception - were second to none.

If you get a chance, definitely try going on a boat tour with the marine biologists to see dolphins and whales. It lasts for around 4/5 hours so bear this in mind if making plans. This trip was recommended by Natalie on reception and it was absolutely amazing!

Restaurants around the old town were better than on the main strip (avoid if at all possible!). If you want a decent Spanish tortilla then we would recommend 'Santa Ana' just a short walk from the hotel. We were informed of this restaurant by a local and were not disappointed.

Room Tip: Definitely try to stay on the second floor with sea views if possible. Room 103 was the better room we had out of the two we were given, if unable to get a room on the second floor.

A bland 5 star 200+ room hotel is typically our natural choice for a week in the sun to unwind in April. So pleased we tried somewhere different & delighted we came across the Avanti Boutique Hotel. Warm, friendly staff offering quirky but luxury accommodation. A lovely room, freshly cooked breakfasts & a fabulous sunny (but sheltered) roof terrace - we loved it here!

Put my hand up - claim to be the biggest fool on earth. Booked hotel 24th Feb but flights March 24th! Had to move hotel booking to March. Lovely Kati and Natalie did their best to help to rejig booking but had to move after the 1st 2 nights (2nd floor, room 201 - large and very nice indeed but unfortunately noisy from bars directly opposite) to go down road to the absolutely dreadful Barcelo Bay for 1 night before returning for last night (2nd floor, room 205, right on corner sharing views of beach/port with edge of the lovely bit of town and very quiet!!!!). Unbelievably kind and helpful ladies. Could very well be cleanest hotel we have ever seen. Breakfast huge - lunch later was out of the question! Great restaurant (try the battered prawns). Avanti literally on beach. Not wonderful approach to the hotel as you enter Corralejo along the main road from airport as you have to pass cheap restaurants and bars but hotel itself fantastic. Demarcation point. Horrible to the west, but to the east of hotel and behind are the lovely lanes and squares and great little tapas bars and restaurants. Loved the little boat models dotted around hotel. Husband's birthday shortly afterwards and Kati told me where to buy them. Whatever they are asked for these 2 ladies come up trumps. Private taxi's are laid on at 43 Euros each way - makes life so much easier. Cannot recommend it too highly.

Room Tip: Try not to have rear facing rooms opposite clubs/bars. When windows are open there is a lot of noise until 0245/0300 hours). Room 205 has balcony overlooking end of these bars but just close that door and leave windows open overlooking beach. Result? Perfect silence. Strange but true.

We spent two nights at this small hotel, which is well situated by the sea front. The hotel has been refurbished and the rooms looked fresh and stylish in white, Our second floor room had a wonderful sea view. We also enjoyed the roof terrace, with comfortable sunbeds. Our room was quite small and very comfortable and the mattress was unusually good. The staff was very friendly and serviceminded. The breakfast was basic but good. At night we were a bit disturbed by noise from nearby bars and restaurants.

Spent my 30th birthday in Avanti ocean view room, the room was beautiful with lovely decor and the view of corralejo port from the hotel window was amazing. You can fall asleep listing to the sound of the ocean during the night when it's quiet. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast spread was good.
