We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Mariner Club. We found the apartment to be very clean, maid came in every other day nothing was a problem for her (JUANA). The complex was very clean and most guests friendly. The staff were fantastic AMANDA entertaining the kids was a dream, KATIE the rep was brilliant, very helpful, waiting staff in bar and restaurant were very good, all work very hard, Thanks to KIRSTY for her advise and all her hard work she is a credit for any manager to have, The food in the restaurant is excellent and value for money, we did eat out often but check menus VAT not included in prices at some restaurants. Lovely beach 10-15 mins walk to Alcudia port 20-25 mins walk, Old Town 40-45 mins I would not recommend walk to town with small children when it is very hot, taxi under 5 euros, Only downside was I wish we had neighbours to come home to like we had upstairs and next door (From NOTTINGHAM, LiVERPOOL, GLASGOW,)

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic holiday.

Room Tip: Ground floor good for children only 2 small steps

Spent one week at the Mariners with my 12 year old daughter. We had a studio overlooking the pool. Basic but really clean. The balcony was big enough for a table and 3 chairs and there's a clothes dryer on the wall - everything got dry overnight. The pool was great - it might be worth mentioning that the main pool is 1m40 deep so if you have a child who is shorter than that they'll have to swim all of the time if they are in there! Very kind people gave us their lilos on the day we arrived as they were leaving - this, I believe, is a common and pleasant occurance. There was a lot of inflatable activity in the pool - it's not really suitable for proper swimming unless you get in there early. The gorgeous beach is about 15 mins walk away and well worth visiting. Renting pedalos was a bit pricey - 20 euros for an hour. The sea is clear and the beach long and sandy. Eroski supermarket is the cheapest for provisions. We didn't go on any of the trips but on a previous viist to Majorca we went to the Caves of Drac which is spectacular. The entertainment at the hotel is good - Amanda the entertainment rep is amazing with the children - knowing all of their names etc. The food is good with generous portions - I found myself eating off the children's menu a lot!! Air con is a must if you want to sleep!! We never had a problem getting a sunbed, but perhaps the hotel wasn't totally full. We put towels out at about 9.30 am (there were already loads out by then!!). The port is lovely - we visited at night and had a lovely evening. We got a horse driven taxi back to the hotel which was a bit steep....20 euros. I liked the fact that all of the rooms overlook the pool - my daughter said is felt like a community being there, which was true, it not being a huge hotel we got to know our fellow holiday makers by sight if not by name. My daughter is already asking if we can go back next year.....

Room Tip: We had a 1st floor studio which was very good.

this is a lovely hotel for families with young children. The staff are welcoming and friendly, from the manager to the maintainence staff. A big thank you to Amanda (entertainment) Sole, Alain, Kirsty, (bar staff) Inma (maid). the room was spotless and cleaned every other day, with clean towels in abundance. The one bedroom apartment was nice and roomy and could have slept 5 comfortably, the balcony was a nice size with table and chairs. The bar and restaurant served good food and was reasonably priced compared to some of the nearby establishments. The pool and gardens was always clean and tidy. The beach is about a 10min walk, with a further 5-10 mins to the harbour. The more English area (Bellevue) is about 5mins depending on how fast you walk. We were told that a bus into the harbour was 1.25 euro p.p but a taxi from the hotel was no more than 5 euro's so we did that each evening.

Room Tip: room 27 is a good size, but the view to the pool is obscured by trees. most uncomfortable bed I'...

the mariner club is a lovely family hotel ,it's clean ,friendly and they try their hardest to make your stay the best you can have .we stayed for 10 days ,the kids loved the pool and the entertainment .the spanish shop is really cheap and its just around the corner ,theres three main places to go the strip, the port and the old town there all worth visiting .the food at the mariners is great value and we ate there most nights ,but if you fancy something special try going to the port .

Room Tip: 1st floor 's best as it looks over the pool
