Room's were ok basic food breakfest good dinner and tea ok 4 out of 7 day's were edible the other 3 day's were poor and we went out for dinner because of this. Walking back from the club you are meet with rat's along the wall near the canal the bar wasnt stocked very well not many different spirit's. my first time to alcudia and my last nothing to do there. room's were cleaned 3 out of 7 day's which is not very good sheet's not changed in that time or replaced as of them was sick on a friend cant handle his beer the canal and lake smell's too

I have just returned from a short stay at the Club Bellevue (19-23rd April 2012). As we were only staying for a few days i wasnt too worried so long as it was clean, but here is what i thought.

We arrived at the hotel at midnight after an awful transfer (90mins from the airport and lots of windy roads). The reception had only a skeleton staff but mangaged to get us booked into our rooms quite quickly and with no issues. We were told we were staying in Leda II (rooms 210 & 211) and were given a map to find where we were going. We found the room easy enough (though i can imagine this is far more difficult if staying in one of the blocks further from reception as the place is massive).

Our room (211) was great, it was far better than what we were expecting after reading the reviews on here. Yes it isnt the most modern room ive stayed in but it was large, clean and had a seperate little kitchen area with fridge that was great for us. We did find out though that our window did not lock. We reported it straight away and this was repaired for us 1st thing in the morning. We even got a pool view.
The only thing we did find is the room was really cold at night, i had read a review saying this so i took fleecy pj's but still found myself cold whilst in bed.

The food... Well unfortunately i dont really have anything great to say about the food. I appreciate that you get what you pay for but i honestly found that unless you ate fish/seafood you really didnt stand much chance. The breakfasts were ok, bacon, sausage, beans and eggs etc were served every morning along with croissants and a selection of cold meats and cereals etc. I never ate lunch in the buffet restaurant as we ate in the pool snack bar, which was better for us. This served burgers, chips, salads etc. The evening meal on the 1st night was some kind of white fish, mussels and squids on the grill area. I ate a bowl of asparagus soup (which was actually really nice) and then left hungry. We made a group decision to eat our evening meal out after this. There is a really nice selection of restaurants in the area.

We visited before the main season starts in May so the hotel was relatively quiet and we didnt have to queue for any meal. However, if visiting in busier times there is still only 1 restaurant that i cant imagine seats more than around 400 people at once and i was told that the hotel can hold upto 6000 people in high season so i can imagine the queues are horrific. I also found it strange that although we were all inclusive we could only get free drinks and free food from certain bars and places. If we went to one of the wrong bars we would have to pay. Again, we didnt have any problems with this but i thought it worth mentioning.

I know people have mentioned on here about rats. I saw possibly 2 or 3 throughout my stay but they were only running along the river bank and were not interested in anyone.

The hotel was clean and tidy and all the staff i spoke to were very helpful. The only thing really ruining this place were some of the guests. There were a lot of young groups (my own party included) staying here but some just did not know how to respect family groups that were also staying. They were drunken people daily dancing around the pool and on 1 occassion a chair was thrown into the pool where children were swimming. At 1 point the manager was even called to deal with potential violence breaking out amongst drunken british guests.

All in all a holiday is what you make of it and we did enjoy our short break. There were good and bad points about this hotel. I would re-visit the hotel but again only for a short break out of season.

Room Tip: We stayed in Leda II rooms 210 & 211. They were over looking the pool on the 2nd floor and appe...

Just back from a short break in the Bellevue and loved it. Iv stayed in 3-5 star hotels in a number of places and this is one of the best 3 star hotels iv been in.
First up, the place is huge, we stayed in the lada 1 block. Rooms were big enough, clean enough and well furnished, maybe could be more modern, but its only 3 stars, so can't grumble.
Pools were good, not overly busy, pool bars were great too, really enjoyed the beer and my fiancee liked the cocktails.
The food was good, for those complaining its all chips and pizza, get a grip, yes there was chips and pizza, but there was also fresh meat, pasta, really fresh salads etc. And the breakfasts were really nice too.
The location is great, loads of stuff near the complex (go to uncle festa's shot bar, they do the most amazing shots ever)
It's a ten min walk to the beach, but once your there its stunning.
I will Defo be going back, was a great complex, with nice beer and cocktails and nice food.
What more do you actually want.

Stayed here for week in September 2011. It was an All Inclusive package through Jet2. The room we had smelt stale and clearly hadn't been used for a while. We also had to get maintenance to repair to door card lock mechanism and all this on arrival.. The restaurant was a free for all which we didn't like either.. The drinks had no real taste and no real alcohol.. The areas around the pools were ok and the general grounds not to bad though.. We would consider going back to this place, but only on a self catering basis. Dont think it warrants anything above a low 2 star.. It is close to most amenities and shops.. Beach about 500mtr walk..

Room Tip: Be sure to have mozzy repellent.. Lots of trees and bushes on the complex that come alive at night...
