just come back after a week at the bonaire, one of the best i have stayed at, staff where brilliant as was the thompson entertainment team, ideal for families plenty to do and the food was very good. we went self catering but after 2 days we upgraded to all inclusive which is one of the best things we did.

Room Tip: block 5 rooms 5010 to 5016 are ground floor and the balcony faces a quiet wooden area

My family and I (two adults 1 girl aged 4 and boy aged 18months) arrived for our 2nd trip to Bonaire this september- we came back as we knew the hotel was clean and brilliant for the kids. the splash pool was a particular hit as it was brilliant for both the children. When we went last year we chose to go all inclusive, which was nice but not everything was included this year we decided to go self catering as Thompson were going to charge an extra £660 to upgrade to all inclusive when we arrived at the hotel they were advertising upgrading to all inclusive @ 35 euros/day with children under 7 free so doing the maths we could work out it would be cheaper to upgrade to all inclusive whilst at the hotel!! just thought that information could come in useful to someone!! We had a fantastic holiday the staff are very friendly and helpful, the whole complex is super clean, the entertainment is great, my daughter loved it! we wouldn't hesitate to come back again we would highly recommend it!!!!!

Room Tip: we requested a quiet room as entertainment continues until late and we have two young children. the room we were in was lovely and quiet

This hotel is very family friendlly hotel, thomson staff do a fantastic job. The room was very nice and spacious we went self catering and everything needed was supplied. In the evening there was a variety of entertainment to a high standard. By the pool plenty of sun beds, beach near by would not recommend. Bus service outside of the hotel was excellent value for money. Dont bother buying food items near hotel it was very expensive instead go to lidl which is a 15 minute bus ride away. We went to the capital on our own by bus which was cheaper than booking through thomson and also one the trip up the mountains and down by train very expensive in my opnion.

Room Tip: Request a room in a block with a lift if you have kids

Just arrived home - first time abroad with our 3 yrs old and we all had a fantastic time - the splah pool is great for the little ones - very clean rooms and we went all inclusive - food was good, would recomend all inclusive - we saved a fortune - drinks and food are a little expensive - ice creams not on all inclusive 3 euros!! the enterainment staff were amazing - chloeoche/raving rachel/flipper and calum - but while we were there cinderlle started and she is great - my daughter loved her - to sum up - nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff - if u are on a late flight would recomend asking about a late check out on the first day as they do not have amny rooms - should be a FIVE STAR hotel

Room Tip: go all inclusive - you will save a fortune

We have just returned from a week all inclusive at the Bonaire. We have been to the hotel before on a couple of occasions and couldnt fault it. The hotel staff were lovely, from the reception to the bar staff. A special mention must go to Ravin Rachel and her team, Flipper and Chloeoke and for the latter part of the week Cinderellie who had just started as Chloeoke had to return back to uni. The entertainment team work so hard, very difficult to understand why some of the reviews say that the volume is on one level.. high, well in my opinion, we could at least hear everything very clearly which was good, especially if you had noisy people on the table next to you! And for the people who compare it to Butlins and being cheesy... did you not know you were going to a family club extra hotel? The format is run by Thomson and the entertainers follow a programme, they dont just make it up as they go along, I suggest those people go to a villa or check out the hotel first before they go on holiday again. They are very hard working, always have a smile and a hello and the majority of people think they do a good job, they are brilliant with the children during tea time live and do a very good job of the evening entertainment. You cant please everyone and if you dont like bingo... go somewhere else. The food was very varied, a lovely choice and the Italian restaurant was very nice too. The daytime lunch at the bar was varied and handy if you didnt want to go into the restaurant. The restaurant was open early if you had an early transfer so that was good too. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making our week a good one! I would recommend the hotel to anyone and Thomson need to know that the entertainers do a very good job.
