Stayed at Exagon Park this summer for a a family holiday after reading the reviews on here and was not disapointed in any way. The hotel is situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of the resort, large grounds give the feeling of a much larger hotel but in all honesty the hotel never felt crowded at all. Rooms are fairly basic but kept very clean by the housekeeping staff who are all very pleasant and cheery whilst going about their work. Any and all staff we encountered during our stay were a credit to the hotel and themselves, the food was of a good quality and variety, you really would struggle to not find something you liked at the buffet breakfast and dinner, I would suggest better labelling of the various dishes on offer though as sometimes it was quite difficult to work out what they all were. The pool area is great, large and spacious with lots of sunbeds for everyone, lots of guests would use the vast grass areas around the pool to sunbathe and this contributed to the area never feeling to crowded or overrun. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach from the hotel, shops / supermarkets 10 min walk and the main Can Picafort resort is 30 mins walk along the prom so everything close by .
Overall we found this to be a great value hotel, clean, welcoming, good food and adequate rooms. Great location for a relaxing family holiday with anything you could want only a short walk away.

Room Tip: high floor and pool facing

My wife and i stayed from the 5th September for 10 nights. A lot of people have mentioned how long the transfer from the airport takes. We went on a package with Jet2 (highly recommended) and it took us 75 minutes from airport to hotel which i think is acceptable. We stayed on a half board basis. The rooms are a decent size and comfortable. We both needed an extra pillow each and asked at reception and were given them straight away. The food in the restaurant was of good quality and had no real complaints although i will say the choice of soups in the main were well below average. A reasonable choice of dinners and desserts were enjoyed by us both. The area around the pool and grassed areas are huge. I have never been to a hotel with so much ground. Their are loads of sunbeds so you will never have to look far for one. We spent our time on the sunbeds in the lawned areas and it was very peaceful. You can hire towels for the sunbeds for a deposit which you get back at the end of the holiday. We also hired the safe in the room which is worthwhile. All in all a very nice hotel which i would definately go back to again. Be aware though that dogs are allowed at the hotel which i was not aware of before we went although i have since seen on the Exagons own website! We also noticed walking down to the beach on the road pavement how much dog poo their is left so watch where you walk!! It must be said however this has nothing do do with the hotel. If you are looking to go out for the night then try the Crazy Horse pub which is just down from the Son Baulo Hotel (just follow the road down where the dog poo is). Cheap drinks and you are sure to have a laugh a minute with the bar owner Paco.

Read all the reviews before we went and while this is a good hotel it is not great as some people suggest.
Rooms are perfectly adequate and kept very clean by very polite house keeping ladies.
Reception area is dated but clean tidy and bright. There have been many comments about the food and we found it to be Ok to good. Cold plates meant no meal was very hot. Some really god carvery meats and fish every night. For us we would have liked more plain potatoes and vegetables instead of all the Mediterranean versions. For example one night we had what thought was boiled potatoes but they had been cooked and served with squid, very strange and not nice.
Excellent breakfast but again on cold plates.
At peak times the restaurant was very busy but the staff did their best to get you seated asap.
We were only half board as we like to go out at least every other day for a walk and preferred to spend our money on drinks in town. The bar prices were too high and I had one instance of overcharging for Bacardi resulting in a difference of opinion on Cuban or Spanish that I felt was not acceptable. Got a free beer out of that though. The amount of wasps around the pool bar soft drinks pumps was alarming.
The pool and surrounding grass areas are the highlight of the hotel. Literally hundreds of beds and personal space. The entertainment team were excellent during the day with a special mention to Giovanni.

Very impressed with this Hotel, acres of space for sunbathing, never ever a sun bed shortage [hundreds of them] place them between, palm trees or round the large pool.Staff very pleasant& polite throughout.Good views from majority of rooms. Rooms very pleasant and spacious.Evening entertainment good&varied.Food could be better&hotter[cold plates],but overall OK.Stayed on a H/B basis.Very little local nightlife&somewhat outlying.Give it a try, but beware there is NO THOMPSON REP IN ATTENDANCE AT ALL.Nearest one at the San Bualo Hotel 500 mtrs away away.Thompsons neglect to inform travellers of this. The Hotel isn"t even listed in their literature on arrival at the Airport. Childrens pool also on site. Would recommend all inc stay.A very quiet Hotel. Not for the lively youngsters

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the Hotel would be the noisiest, but really not a problem as the Hotel is set i...

Lovely hotel in lovely grounds. Quiet room and fantastic food. Would go again. Just a 5 minute walk to beach. At the end of the bay with bus access to Alcudia etc. Only downfall was the transfer as last drop off and first pickup!
