This is a late review as we had a family holiday here last July . There is nothing I can fault with this hotel and from start to finish we felt relaxed and comfortable.
We have stayed in several 4 star highly rated holiday hotels including another hipotels hotel but in my opinion the difference at this hotel is the attention to detail :
The hotel is immaculate , from the corridors , bedrooms , shared facilities and the grounds there is not a thing out of place.every morning you could see the staff cleaning the grass area around the pool and taking pride in their job.
The gardens and flowers are beautiful and the gardeners deserve high praise .
The food is excellent and breakfast a highlight.
Senior management were highly visible .
The staff were professional but always looked happy .
The pool was fantastic and there were always loungers available.
The tennis courts were excellent but quite expensive to use and you need to book with the Tennis coach .
There are a couple of things that in my opinion could make the hotel even better :
The evening meal is all buffet and as a result ,depending on where you sit it does make it difficult to totally relax. Perhaps the hotel could consider having the main course served by waiters as it makes it more special. They do serve drinks to the table which is good.
The shower is over the bath and a walk in shower would be better.
Having to pay extra for tea or a coffee machine in the bedroom is unusual in this standard of hotel.
We loved our stay at the hotel but probably will not return as the resort is too touristy but if you want to make the hotel the destination we would return happily.

Room tip: Suite overlooking the pool is excellent and quiet

Great experience staying in this hotel. We stayed in a suite on the second floor overlooking the pool area. The decor is a little old fashioned, but still feels fresh and the rooms were very clean. The staff was fabulous. The food is first class with an abundance of choice. We tried a few local restaurants but the food at the hotel was much better! The pool is large and sparkling clean and there is expansive grassed areas around the pool - plenty of space. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel, but we will never travel to Majorca again. This is pretty rude, but we found the resort area and resort beaches around Cala Millor really tacky and run down. It might have been good in the 70s and 80s but not now. We were also a bit overwhelmed by the number of German tourists (80% Germans).

Room tip: Rooms with a pool view are better than the 'tennis' view which looks over a large ugly car park.

This is an excellent hotel.
The staff are friendly and are all first class in what they do. Everyone is keen to help when they can.
The food is the best, be it at the breakfast (amazing pancakes) or dinner which are buffet`s, there is an excellent selection of food with different options each night.
The hotel pool is across the not very busy road from the main part of the hotel and can also be accessed via a tunnel avoiding any traffic. The Pool is large good for real swimming and has a large grassy area to chill out on. Not forgetting the indoor pool which is great for a swim and a chill out if you don't fancy the beach.
Evenings in the hotel are pleasant often with some form of gentle entertainment nothing Karaoki here!
Cala Millor has a large German influence and when we were there this was reflected in the hotel, only a few English voices, although the staff speak excellent English.
The clientele here appreciate quality and this is what this place offers. Mostly couples only a few families with young children when we stayed in October.
Its situated at the quieter Southern end of the resort about 20mins walk to the main area of shops etc The beach is only a few minutes walk.

My partner and I have just returned home from a wonderful 10 day stay at this lovely hotel.

The staff have to mentioned, you are made to feel most welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Beatrix on reception was wonderfully welcoming and the glass of prosecco was most welcomed. The staff in the restaurant work so hard, running around, clearing plates, getting drinks - absolutely amazing pace they work at. Must mention Silvana who was lovely with always a cheeky smile.

We stayed half board and the food was lovely, such a wide variety to choose from both for breakfast and for evening meal that I can't possibly mention everything but if you're eating here it's worth taking a walk along the serving areas first before deciding what you want to eat as you may miss something! In the evenings show cooking but also loads of ready prepared foods - candied duck was amazing! Salads - choice of several prepared salads plus make your own with plenty of dressings to chose from. Desserts were lovely.

We ate at the pool bar 4 times, the food there was superb as well, presented lovely and very tasty.

The housekeeping was excellent. Our room was kept immaculate by the ladies who do the cleaning.

The room was lovely, plenty of wardrobe space. Twin wash basins in the bathroom. Comfortable beds. Lovely.

We stayed in the main part of the hotel in a room overlooking the road and across to the pool area. It was lovely, the road is not noisy. In other reviews people mentioned the entertainment being noisy but we never had a problem. Yes, you could hear the entertainment but only just and it was not enough to stop us from going sleep.

By the pool - plenty of sunbeds. You are advised at reception that they do not allow reserving of the sunbeds and there is no need to whatsoever. On the day we arrived we went to the pool about 1pm, there were plenty of beds and we had a choice. Also the other days we went to the pool there were always beds available during the day at any time. Congratulations to the hotel for stopping the reserving of the beds, it works brilliantly - I wish other hotels would take up your stance.

Overall, a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Well worth staying here. 20 out of 10.
