“Great location, full of character”

All arrangements to reach the accommodation were clear and well communicated. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Lovely Spanish vibe at the place and a great balcony to sit out on. We were there in the autumn but I think the place would be nice and cool in the summer. Mojacar itself was a joy.

“The perfect place to discover Andalucia”
Reviewed 21 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The appartment is in an ideal position and has a terrace with wonderful views of the Mediterranean and its beautiful sunrises, as well as the mountainous region typical of inland Andalucia.
It offers everything you could possibly need for even a lengthy stay and is very spacious and attractively furnished.
It is centrally located in the beautiful little hilltop village of Mojacar Pueblo with shops, bars and wonderful restaurants just a short walk away.
Getting to Mojacar Palya takes a few minutes by car or with the local bus. It's a good beach with loads of bars and restaurants but a little crowded and over-developed for us, but there are so many beautiful beaches in this part of Spain then it would be a pity to stick to this one anyway. Go to Cabo de Gata for the most beautiful unspoiled beaches, or just a few miles along the coast to Puerto Rey if you want something a little more "organised". It is much more spacious and less crowded than Mojacar and has a wondeful sandy beach with fantastic fresh fish served in the several restaurants located directly on the beach.
There are so many place to visit in Andalucia that it would be impossible to list them, find out for yourself on the many websites and choose according to personal taste. We went for the more laid-back option of checking out the area within easy driving distance of Mojacar, such as Nijar, Garrucha (the best fresh fish ever), Isleta del Moro and Puerto Rey, and that was only scratching the surface.
All in all a wonderful holiday in an incredibly beautiful part of the world, along with great service and a smile everywhere we went.
One suggestion I would make is to make the effort of learning at least a bit of Spanish, it makes a difference when you are trying to communicate, and it can also be a lot of fun.

“"perfect village experience"”

For anyone wanting that traditional village experience then this is ideal. Centrally located within a 2 min walk to the main plaza. The village is typical Andalucian, with beautiful whitewashed houses and winding cobbled streets filled with small restaurants and shops. The stretch along the beach is easily accessible by bus which runs from the village every 30 mins. The apartment itself is bright and airy with the most beautiful views across to the sea and mountains from its terrace, which is the perfect setting for breakfast or dinner and wine.
Would suit families and couples alike but not suitable for anyone who has difficulty with steps.
Since my first trip I have returned to the village every year since and made many friends!

“Perfect Location”

This lovely village sits on a hillside and Casa Isabel is right in the heart of it. The owner told us it was not possible to take a car to the door and the reason became obvious as we walked through the stunning lanes leading to this traditional house. They were narrow, white, very beautiful and extremely well kept. We always found a parking spot in the large car park at the bottom of the hillside and there is a new lift from the bottom to the main square which is extremely helpful! The house is only a minute or so from the square. The village has lots of bars and restaurants and unless you want the beach there is no need to leave! However, the beaches in the area are sandy and wide with plenty of space to find a secluded spot. The terrace from the living room gives amazing views of the sea and the surroundings hills as well as the rooftops of the village. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. As there are steps down into the house, it would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
