Myself and a friend went on 7th Oct, supposed to be til the 10th, but Ryanair had a different idea .. turned out to be a blessing. This beautiful laid back town is busy but tame, with plenty of Bars, restaurant s, beach bars. Not to mention miles and miles of unbelievable Coast line. The walk way the lent of the beach is lined wit palm tress, beaches and everything that's right on a holiday, with the most stunning back drop of mountains. We stayed in Spirit the Mojacar, organised thru Rent Mojacar. Would highly highly recommend Mojacar as a holiday destination!!!

Mojacar old town is beautiful. Little narrow streets and white buildings. Lovely shops and restaurants dotted around but a particularly amazing view from the central square across the whole area to the sea. At €1.20 on the bus it's a must visit. Beach is a bit gritty, not the best and the sea a bit rough but lovely to sit and look out on to from one of the many sea front restaurants and bars.

Wouldn't recommend it for the young teens as nothing to do, my daughter at 18 was fed up but a nice place to recharge batteries. Very very Spanish!
